comparable in price or even cheaper than plastic drip coffee options and NO need for filters!!!works well, is dish wash compatible, or super easy to clean by hand. the fine mesh does not get even the finest of coffees (i always use super fine ground espresso) clogged. great cup of coffee every time!

Works exactly the way it's supposed to. I use a filter on top of it. Just cause. Still works great. Doesn't fit ALL coffee cups. Only if you drink coffee by the liter.

This filter will not come clean after two years of regular use. We have brushed it, boiled it in vinegar, let sit, and then scrubbed and washed thoroughly with grease-cutting dish detergent. It no longer allows coffee to filter through it unless you can wait 45 minutes for one cup of coffee. There are two layers of mesh instead of just one, so I think the coffee oil gets trapped between the layers. Whatever, it's junk.

This was my introduction to pour-over coffee. With this, you can make really strong coffee that is not bitter. However..., it does plug up after a few months of constant use. Paper cone filters (with a plain plastic cone) are not expensive or difficult to find, so that's my goto these days. I'll keep this for emergencies.

I have several of these and use them daily. They make great coffee.I run them through the dishwasher frequently, but they will (after more than a year) start to clog.You can (as other reviewers have) throw them away, or you can clean them with high pressure water. Sink sprayer works, if you have something like a water pik that'll work, and I suspect compressed air would work if you have a compressor in your garage.Once cleaned properly, they're good for at least another year of flawless service (and then you clean them again).I have not had luck with vinegar or any other "chemical" cleaner.

So far so good. Had it about 2 months and it still works well. However... I do clean it with the sprayer as soon as I am finished with it to keep the very fine holes from gumming up. I spray opposite the direction of coffee flow, and that seems to be keeping it free of clogs.These holes are very fine and it takes a while to drip a cup. BUT, is does block the grounds very well. Makes a tasty cup of java. NOTE: 2+ years later and still going strong. I find it needs a trip through the dishwasher if it gets a little oily or discolored from regular use. But, after that, and a quick xtra rinse, it looks and works like new.

I have been using my new pour over coffee maker for a few days now and I am really enjoying it. I received it just before we left on a camping trip. so I tossed in in our travel trailer for use the next morning. I was so glad I had this coffee dripper with me. It was so convenient to heat up water on the camp stove and use this to make two mugs for my husband and I. We didn't have to plug in our noisy generator to use the electric coffee maker but instead enjoyed our morning treat in peace and quiet. This product is perfect for using in the outdoors. It doesn't take up much space and can be used anywhere with no electricity. It was my first time using a portable coffee dripper but the included instructions made it a breeze. The included burlap bag for coffee grounds is great a wonderful bonus as well and really adds value to my purchase.I would recommend this pour over coffee maker to anyone looking for one. This is made extraordinarily well, works perfectly, and is a wonderful value.
