A very well made product very accurate.!!!

I ordered a set of these for diving and was very impressed. The bag is VERY sturdy with good stitching, and yet very soft at the same time. Perfect for BCD weights and will also fit nicely in a weight belt with pockets. Could easily be used for more than just diving.

I was worried about the stability of some of the artistic vases we have getting knocked over by the cat or robot vacuum and a curator told me to go to the gun store and pick up some lead shot to put in an old sock and put in the base. Fast forward a week and I need to adjust the weight of my rig because I’ve lost some buoyancy and I ran across these bags. Two problems, same solution. Worked perfectly with the first one so I’ll be buying a few more. Weird that lead in a bag cost less than buying the same amount of lead in bulk at the gone store, but that’s something to look closer at if I ever go back to black powder.

Work very well and very durable.

Perfect, filled with round shot. Using it to pour in motorcycle handlebars to stop vibration. Vibration dampening / energy dissipation beads.

I bought this to use the lead shot for another application and it works great for me but the pieces do vary widely in size and shape. I wouldn't call it #4 shot.

This worked out perfect. I needed some lead bits to refill the base of a desktop scotch tape dispenser, it needed to be heavier because the sand inside it just wasn't cutting it. I was worried as to the the size/shape of the lead bits that came in these bags, but they are just perfect: fairly small, but not too small, like random bits of molten lead that were dropped and then cooled. This make for a perfect size/shape of lead bit that "flows" well and can be reshaped and moved around as need. The nylon mesh bag that they came in was also perfect, very soft but tough, and sewn shut very well, alas for my needs it ended up cut open and thrown away.

Only caveat is that apparently the lead shot is coated with a fine oil to prevent lead oxide corrosion. If you set the bags down on a sheet of paper as paperweights, they will leave a slight oil stain behind. I suppose you could try washing them with Dawn detergent to remove the coating before use. This observation is irrelevant for diving purposes.

Bad quality. it contains small sharp debris inside which may harm the skin or the BCD.

I’m a diving instructor and these are good quality.

The lead inside was recycled by remelting it into mostly #4 shot sized irregular blobs with some variation in size. The blobs are clean and shiny. The mesh bag is sturdy and seems well assembled.
