I was going to deduct a star for slow delivery. The estimated delivery was 5 days -- not the kind of service I expect from Amazon. Fortunately, the cartridges arrived two days earlier than that. The packaging was fine and the toner boxes were perfect -- genuine H-P toner, so of course the cartridges dropped right in the printer and worked without a problem. They're not cheap, but one toner cartridge prints as many pages as several inkjet cartridges, and never clogs or dries up, so the per-page cost comes out lower than ink-jet printing. Highly recommended.

There toner cartridges, works as they should and easier than going to a certain box store.

This item of three toner cartridges, while relatively straight forward, is superior to many of the toners being offered for sale here on Amazon as well as other places. Why? Because they are original and are not remanufactured. I’m all for recycling, protecting the environment, etc., but when you buy these OEM products you’re (a) getting FULL cartridges of toner, and (b) the toner color acts like it is supposed to and doesn’t bleed or smear all over your printed pages. If you’re looking to save a buck, avoid this one and buy remanufactured toner cartridges. If you’re looking for crisp and solid print on the page that doesn’t smear, and lasts more than a couple of reams of paper, choose this one at the higher price. You’ll be money ahead in the long run.

Let me start off by saying that these cartridges are too expensive. I understand they last for a long time and you get higher quality prints. I just hate that I have to drop over $100 per cartridge, but I suppose that is what I have to do. These work, which I cannot say the same for off brand cartridges for HP. It is worth spending the extra money and getting genuine HP toner. It will save you in the end as you will not have issues with toner leaking, ruining other components of the printer, or just not working at all in some cases.

Overpriced cartridges but unfortunately, the only ones that work right in HP laser printers.

Good cartridge but expensive

After 1 year use of aftermarket non HP toner, I bought this and couldn't be happier. The aftermarket toner was streaky, with poor color rendition and very gray black. The HP toner, although twice as much in purchase cost, will, if it lasts like they promise turn out at about the same cost per copy, as the aftermarket toner went bad after 1,000 copies. After 1 year of use of the HP toner, the printer supply status shows 1485 pages printed and 1600 remaining with the 3 color toners, but only 20% used. It is working as well now as when new. No streaking, blots, or spots. Blacks are very black. Good color rendition.
