The DSR139 is a manual charger and does not have a maintain or trickle charge function.

Why does the charger’s fan operate continuously/keep shutting off?

The fan will operate as needed and it is normal for the fan to sometimes operate continuously. Keep the area near the charger clear of obstructions to allow the fan to operate efficiently.

How do I calculate the time needed for a full charge?

To calculate the time needed for a charge, find the percentage of charge needed. Multiply the amp hour rating by the charge needed and divide by the charge rate. Then multiply the results by 1.25 to find the total time needed in hours.

Why is there is a clicking noise coming from the charger?

The clicking noise indicates that the circuit breaker is cycling, the connected battery is defective, the battery clamps have shorted, the connection at the battery is reversed, or the battery is severely discharged, but otherwise in good condition.

Can I use an extension cord with this charger?
