It is a good size and the elastic in them is great! I have been using them for a long while now and they are all functional and as good as new! The only thing that I have marked it down a star for is that they are a little on the thin side so depending on how I am using them sometimes I have to double them up (but nobody can tell when I use 2 so it is not a big deal) and I feel that there should be a choice of size so it can go around the hair more times OR a thicker version of the standard scrunchie or the current version to choose between.
