Works but wire color codes are not 1:1 to voltage levels.
Works as advertised. My only complaint is they do not use the proper ATX 20 and 24-pin wiring color codes, thus removing 1 star. Moreover, they do not keep the colors they chose to use consistent. Colors are not 1:1 to voltage values. This makes it difficult to trace and verify the proper wiring before smoke testing the harness.

Ok product. May not be necessary.
There's nothing particularly wrong with this product, except it's probably unnecessary. You can plug any 20-pin ATX power cable into a 24-pin plug, as long as the motherboard power requirements don't exceed the rating of the power supply. Also, adding more connectors between the power supply and the motherboard may introduce more points of failure. So in the end, do your research and think twice before ordering this.

Must have for upgrading an old MB-20 pin to new generation with 24 pins
17 years old pc with atx power supply was used to accomodate a new generation of mother bord with 24 pins. Power cables going to new MB original were terminated with a 20 pins connector. Here is the point where this adaptor became necessary. And it did the job very well.
