If I had to describe them in a short brief statement, I would say phenomenal for the price. I have not used them while going to the gym, so I cannot really speak for them in that manner. I will say however the sound is what amazes me the most about these. You can feel the ample yet slight bass thuds while hearing all notes and tones of your favorite jam. I have listened to movies, been on planes, walked around, ridden on the lawn mower and all sorts of things to test them out.Clear crisp sound, easy pairing, the easy to fit ear buds, for the price these alone warrant 5 stars. The battery life is also great, they just died today after on and off use and I have had them for about a couple weeks now. There are other things that bother me about them, but because of the cost, I know why they are the way they are, and I wont nit pick at it for what they cost.Over all id buy a second pair to have as a spare, give as a gift or just use myself. They make it seem as though you hold the MF (multifunction) button down to turn on and then hold it down again to pair, or else keep clicking the MF button to enter "Pairing" mode. The fact is, you hold the MF button down, CONTINUOUSLY. You will hear "Power On" and then, a short time later, "Pairing". Do not let up on the button in between. Once I finally figured it out, I am extremely happy with the sound quality. If I have any issues, I will update my review.
