Great as a facial
Love this clay!

Good clay
I like this clay. I use it to put in my homemade soap and it isn’t too gritty but adds a subtle color. It looks a little more gray than purple though but it adds some variation to my white soap. I also like it for simple face masks.

Not purple at all. Do not buy
Not purple at all. Do not buy. I was running low on my purple Brazilian clay stock, so thought I would get this. This was pretty much white. Do not waste your money.

Avoid
I tried using this in cold process soap, but using the recommended amounts, i was left disappointed. The color was very muted, barely a hint of purple-ish, came out just a tad off white. People caution most brazilian purple clay powders of being a white oxide with some dye basically. Then the color is not what they expect in cold process soap. I hope that was not the case here, but the results make me believe it is not the product I purchased..
