I cannot give this enough Stars! This helps tremendously, we put it on our 5 year olds car seat because she sits in the middle and it is such a life saver not having to reach in to unbuckle her! She can get her herself out and help with her sisters top buckle. I wouldn't get for a kid less than 5, I know my 3 year old absolutely would try to unbuckle while we are driving. I will be purchasing another once my 3 year old is 5! It is also very easy to install and she doesn't even know it's there as far as comfortability.

Great Product—Just Remember, 3-Year-Olds Have 3-Year-Old Impulse Control
Very convenient for our family! We have a nearly 4-year-old who rides in the third row, so this has made buckling and unbuckling much easier. That said, I do think it’s important to mention that this device gives your child the ability to release their own seatbelt. Make sure they truly understand that seatbelts stay buckled until the vehicle has stopped. We definitely had a few moments during the first week where our 3-year-old unbuckled while we were driving because, well… impulse control at that age isn’t exactly their strong suit. Once the novelty wore off and we reinforced the rules, it’s been smooth sailing ever since. Our child now buckles and unbuckles independently, which has given them a lot of confidence and made loading and unloading much easier for our family. Overall, we’re very happy with it and would recommend it—as long as your child is ready for the responsibility that comes with it.

Useful after practice
This requires some practice to get it in the correct position to get the needed leverage for it to work. It seems sturdy, though, and stays out of the way for kids to get in their seat. I also appreciate that it is attached to the bottom buckle so it doesn’t end up too far away to be of any use. We’ve had the unbuckle me with previous kids and while it was much easier to use, each broke before the one year mark. It didn’t attach to the seat which would cause it to end up across the car and eventually broken.

Very helpful
I know its for arthritis and thats great but it also helps my son get out of his seat by himself at drop off. Easy to put in, fits great doesn't fall off and he loves the color.

What a lifesaver!!
Oh my goodness the bucklebee is a lifesaver! My 5 year old is unable to release the bottom buckle of the car seat on her own. We went thru 3 unbuckle devices from a different brand in 6 months. Each breaking after a couple months of use. Today was just the first two times using Bucklebee and I can already tell this unbuckler is far more functional and worth the cost. My 5 year old said tonight she loves it a lot more than the other brand we had. I especially love how it sits attached to the car seat while not in use! The action to release the buckle with bucklebee is very intentional. The buckle is not coming open on accident. No worries regarding safety here. I’m also not hunting in the backseat for a device. A lost unbuckle aid defeats the entire purpose of making a child more independent! I wish there were more colors but the blue is cute. I don’t imagine this device will break anytime soon but we may buy another for my next kid in a 5 point harness or for grandparent cars.
