I tried this shampoo in desperation after having a very unpleasant reaction due to a formula change to a well known brand of shampoo I have used for ages without any problems. The reaction had caused my scalp to become unbearably itchy and my shoulders were also affected. This lovely gentle shampoo has made such a difference even after the first wash. I will continue to use Aveeno shampoo as an adult as I am very impressed with it. My hair feels nice and clean and most importantly I no longer have the urge to scratch my scalp! I like the smell, I like the design. My child calls it Mayo and enjoys playing with the bottle. I tried this brand twice, once from supermarket and once from here on Amazon. Both time, the lid is very hard to open which is not ideal when I'm in a rush to wash active toddler. My child has eczema- this shampoo doesn't make it worse visibly, but more head scratching. It also doesn't last long as bottle is quite small. Our eczema needs something moreoisturising. But overall a good product.

I’ve been using Aveeno Kids Shampoo on my daughter, and it’s been really gentle on her scalp. It lathers nicely and rinses out easily without leaving any residue. The scent is light, which I like, but I do feel the bottle runs out quicker than expected. Good product, just wish it lasted longer.

Please be aware that it leaves horrible, huge flaky chunks on child hair. I ordered this a month ago and I noticed my 8 year old has big dandruff like flakes on her hair sometimes, extremely close to her scalp. I realised that she couldn’t wash off all the shampoo from her and this happened
