Well worth the money, even though it seems to be quite expensive...
Bought this to remove valve springs on an ‘02 Dodge Ram 1500 3.7L V6 with worn out valve seals. My intent was to do this with the heads still on, but didn’t go that way. Which is no fault of the tool. It just requires too much force to compress and hold a valve spring in a confined area all while standing on your head trying not to loose the keepers. Subsequently, the heads came off and the tool was still used to do the job. It was even used over the archaic valve spring tool available on loan at your local auto parts store. I tried that one for about an hour, which ended up going back in the box all while cussing and swearing. You will need to find away to keep the head from moving & the valve from dropping while compressing the spring if the head is off, but it can be done!

Very disappointed..
This item came with only one piece instead of the 2 pictured. It did not have the numbers on the piece as pictured. We waited for a week or 2 for this and were really needing it to fix my son's truck and then it came not as expected. Very disappointed...

Better description of what the product can and can not do
Product got the job,but it should have a locking pin to hold in place. Alot of effort to hold it to reinstall keepers. Also it should have an attachment to be able to work the upper valve springs without removing the fuel rail n fuel injectors.
