Neoprene Buoyancy Shorts 'Originals' 5/3mm

I like these Zone 3 Neoprene Shorts; they improved my posture in the water and make it so much easier to swim longer distances in open water. They are high quality and good value for money. So far I have had no durability issues, and I wear them three times a week.

Shorts were great helped with my training and just finished my first mini triathlon. Highly recommend these shorts .

Lightweight, they function fine as buoyancy shorts. VERY snug at first, especially in the waist and crotch for a man. (They're unisex--they look like a women's cut). But fit is okay (I have a 34" waist, and pretty big quads from cycling, but large was the right call). After about 10 swims, however (mostly in the pool, once open water), the waistband, which is of different material than the rest of the suit, discolored to a mustardy-brown and became pilly. It appears to be deteriorating rapidly. I always carefully rinse in fresh water for several minutes after each swim. So I won't be buying their product again. Xterra and Tyr buoyancy shorts have proven much more durable (and you can often find Tyr for a good deal less than other brands, including Zone 3). I'd be less dissatisfied if I'd paid half the price, which is maybe all they're worth.

Seems like I need these for life! Wearing them I can sustain a longer workout swimming laps. The only downside is that the neoprene tears easily and isn’t readily reparable. Haven’t learned this with previous pairs, I’m extra cautious putting them into n and taking them off - keeping my finger nails well away from the neoprene.

I love the appearance while wearing these shorts the fit is perfect and they are not hard to put on as long as you use the proper technique to putting them on. I use them in the pool and the first time I use them I noticed the temperature of the water, they kept my warmer in the water

Flip turns are not an option no matter how tight you cinch the waist

I’m an adult learning to swim - one of the challenges for my lean body type is that legs sink making it hard to float. These shorts provide maybe a pound or so of buoyancy that is just enough to get my lower abdomen up and afloat, which then pulls the legs up with it. Made a big big difference to my first few lessons and helped me gain confidence as i learned to swim. They fit very snug but not uncomfortable.

Bought this for my husband and he really enjoyed the Zone3 buoyancy shorts. As a “sinker”, helped him to get a more flatter/streamlined position, working his core and felt improvement in his strokes. He found his time was faster with the buoyancy shorts on. His waist is ~ 32’ and the medium size feels right without being too tight.

Found these shorts veru useful. They improve my buoyancy and make it much more relaxing to to swim. Worn them about 10 times, quality is good. Size for me if perfect, snug but not to tight.
