Groovy Landing Gear Kayak Cart PA Kit for Hobie Pro Angler

Am happy with them so far. Will be adding a teather to each as I’m clumsy and they don’t float. Mine didn’t have any install instructions. But there are plenty of good videos that show you how and what to expect. Certainly way easier than the scrubber ones….

Easy to install. Took me about 45 minutes total. They are far enough back that you can pull the kayak back a few feet off trailer and drop the wheels so no lifting at all. Going on the trailer or off. I don't even pull the wheels up until I'm in deep enough water to put my peddle drive system in and ready to head out. Same with coming in to launch or you can get to knee high water and drop em. I don't use the bungee to hold em in place because they are taught into the rail enough they don't move. These should have been my first mod to the kayak. The hard wheels work fine as is but I have a ton of gravel in my property so I'll prob buy the beach wheels for ease of moving it around.

Delivered quickly and packaged nicely with a check list to make certain that all parts were there. Their model fit my 2020 Hobie PA 14 like a glove. Pretty easy to install by yourself if you use 550 cord to pull the backing plate thru the hull. No cutting needed, just drilled 4 holes for the mounting screws and it went in like butter!

I had an issue with the seller who sold this to me on Amazon. When I called boo RDOX and got them involved, they were quick to rectify the situation. I am extremely happy with their customer service.

You will not find a better solution to self launching your water craft and the manufacturer stands behind the product 100%.I have it installed on my Hobie Mirage Pro Angler with standard and sand wheels (installed 2021).Fallow the instal direction and maybe watch a YouTube video. Instal is around 1 hours for your first time.Once you have it installed maintenance is nothing. Now you’ll have the ability to launch solo and more space to mount accessories (my flag is now in a perfect spot).I have exceeded the manufacturer’s recommendations for cargo capacity on more than one occasion (moved it with 3 battle bore batteries on the back) and it supports it with no problem [Not Recorded].The wheels are of the best quality. The balloon wheels from the other companies are more maintenance and float the water craft when submerged, making them hard to remove once in the water.If you want to be self sufficient and impress the other boaters at the launch you cant beat BooneDox gear.Im a life long supporter or those that support my kayak.honorary mentions to out to ”FPV” and ”Battle Borne” for help with power.

These wheels are awesome when properly installed. Directions are tough to figure out, but YouTube helped a bunch. Hobie PA 14 is much happier now!

I installed on my hobie PA 12 , install was not so bad . I had to YouTube install videos because instructions that box came with were a little confusing . Overall great product
