I think they're good basic locks, would have loved having them come unopened.

Horrible locks. Weak keys. Weatherproof is a joke. I had to use a torch to get a key in them to get in my trailer. Two of the keys broke. They were frozen solid. Had to break the plastic off to be able to heat the lock up. Not worth half the price.

I purchased a set of these locks and use one on an outdoor shed. They seemed well built with a plastic cover over the keyhole. Things appeared fine until I tried to unlock my shed in the winter. Somehow water got under the cap and the ice expanded into the keyhole. I wasn’t able to unlock the lock because water was frozen in the chamber. I left the cap off so the water could thaw and drain when it warmed up. I checked today with weather in the 40’s and was able to open it, so at least it wasn’t damaged. I’ll keep the cap off going forward, which defeats the purpose of the weatherproof cap. Oh well. At least I don’t have to cut it off.

Got these for a winter trip through colorado in the winter. Had issues with other locks in the past. Though ahead and got some weather resistant locks ahead of time. Even cheated and filled the locks with white lithium grease. The locks were smooth. The rubber gaskets at the shackle fall off too easy and get lost. Then water gets in the lock and it freezes. Nice idea, works perfect, until you actually install and remove the locks in the wild. The other bit is the flap over the lock cylinder. Cold morning (0°F) and it just snapped off. There is a vent hole in the cover as well. Appears to be small enough to keep road grime out. The overall plastic coating burns easy when you put a torch to the lock to melt the ice that got in after the shackle gaskets fall off and get lost. Good try. Better than most. Still flawed

Garbage. I had them for three months on my trailer and I had to get bolt cutters to get them off. They sized up entirely. Key turns but no matter how hard you pull they won’t open up. When I took the “weatherproof” cap off water poured out of them.

Are not weatherproof, need a torch to melt the ice inside them in winter use.
