However, if you are into appearance the fingertips and thumb area get very frayed with use. Lots of fuzzy appearance in these areas. No holes or damage beyond looking frayed and fuzzy. I still think it's good since it holds up beyond that and is thinner which allows you to feel as if you are barely wearing a glove compared with thick leather gloves. The REVIEW: I went through an extensive process of sanding and repainting the majority of my dumbbells a couple of years ago so I decided I should shift to FULL finger weight training gloves to keep my finger oil and sweat off of them as much as possible. I want to ensure the finish stays intact as long as possible. These are thinner but not too thin, appear durable so far and have enough grip during use. I like the quality. I like the black color, but dark or medium gray would be nice too. Since I work out of my home gym setup it is not that important, however. I like the form fit they have. The size was perfect for me.
