Good cyclone for dust and chip collection with 2.5โ ports
Iโve run with a similar popular cyclone for quite a few years. It has served me well, but I found the connection ports to be a bit restricting. As I moved more of my system over to 2.5โ, that was going to become a problem. This cyclone has full-size 2.5โ ports that present less impediment to airflow. The cyclone has worked well so far, and Iโve noticed the improved airflow means better pickup on machines that use open horns for collection, such my table saw and compound mitre saw. Machines that donโt have close-quarters pickup need particularly good airflow to capture and entrain dust and chips that go everywhere. So, unrestricted ports are what I consider the winning element of this cyclone as compared to my old one, and the rest works just fine, too.

Works well to save on filters!
I ended up attaching this to my smaller shop vac for the laser engraving area since my system is in the shed and get very dusty and leaves get in with all the trees around. The setup is very easy and used a reinforced cover on a 30 gallon HDPE drum that's also easy to take off with the plastic ring. It ended up bigger than I liked but also wanted minimal duct length. I used an elongated 90 degree PVC pipe to make sure I'm not losing a ton of CFM. It's working well so far and the suction hasn't slowed down. While the shop vac has it's own filter, it's hardly dirty and keeping it nice and clean. The filter at least filters out any fine dust and particles which I've seen a huge difference. The unit is also very well made and seems durable. I almost didn't catch this product and maybe the way the product photo was shot so something the vendor can keep in mind and perhaps, more visuals for the actual product being used. But, I'm glad I found this product!

Nice cyclone collector
Works great. After using, it left my shop vac clean. I attached it to the top of a standard ammo box.

Works well enough
Everything needed to install is included, very easy to install. It does not catch everything like some videos show. If does catch about 98% of it though which is good. I run a lot of cedar fence pickets thru a planer, and it fills the shop vac too quickly. I installed this on a 55 gallon plastic drum and it is outstanding.

Great dust collector
I built my own collector and it worked ok. Replace it with this and it works great! Only issue I had was with my 20-gallon container, where the lid was a bit too "flexible". Ended up attached a piece of plywood to the lid for stability and seems much better. Honestly, I can't imagine doing woodworking and using power tools without this, esp. for how inexpensive this is compared to high-end dust collectors..

Solid, budget option
Does ok. Iโve got it mounted to two five gallon buckets I combined to make a larger ten gallon container. It still lets some through, but waaaay better than nothing at all. Might be my small capacity container itโs mounted to. Made of some really stout plastic though. Had to use a smaller shop vac because my larger rigid kept collapsing my buckets.

Works for Me
The Quick Click Dust Collection Separator has been working great for the month since I put it into service. Other DIY cyclonic dust separator builders have had issues attempting to use 15-16 gallon plastic buckets as a dust receptacle because they collapsed under vacuum. I went with a 16 gallons VEVOR Fryer Grease Bucket (also available on Amazon). This strong metal bucket does not have that problem. It provides an ample volume for dust and has a very good soft rubber seal with clips holding the lid down. The included mobile base makes it easy to move the separator around the shop. A 4" hole saw provided a perfectly sized hole in the cover to mount the Quick Click Dust Separator. The 4 machine screws and rubber seal provided with the separator mount it to the bucket and provides an excellent seal. I like the option to connect 2-1/4" shop vac hoses or 2-1/2" hoses. The overall construction seem better than other plastic separators. I'd buy is again.

Cost-effective Dust Separator
Use this mounted on a 5 gallon bucket and hooked to my shop vac. It does a great job of separating out the heavier materials. I recommend this product if you are looking for a cost-effective dust separator.
