Buy this!!
Buy this! We had some work done to the house that left all of our light fixtures covered in dust. This chandelier has a ton of long, prism-shaped crystals that I had zero interest in removing to clean. Literally just sprayed it until it was dripping (don’t forget to put down a towel) and leave it alone. I ended up doing this one twice because it was so extra dirty but the photos speak for themselves! A few of the prisms had drip marks so I had to go back and wipe those ones off but it was no biggie. Highly recommend!

must have microfiber cloth
If you don't have a microfiber cloth (which should be sold with the product as part of a cleaning kit; I have different kits for different parts of my house) you are simply going to be rubbing the dirt and dust right back on the chandelier. Now I know that you are supposed to spray and walk away but this didn't get the chandelier clean enough for my standards although it was significantly cleaner and most people would probably be delighted with the product. Certainly for what it says it will do, it does. It just doesn't meet my own personal standards. I don't clean my crystal chandelier that often since I have to get up on a ladder an move the dining table to do it. So when I want it CLEAN I want it really clean. If you used this product monthly or every other month I am sure that you would be very happy with the results. I like mine to sparkle like it just came out of the shipping package though so it, while being a very decent product still required the extra work to meet my standards. Also, does nothing for cobwebs, so you have to still dust those off anyway. Would I buy it again? Yep. I would. Would I recommend it to others? Yes, but with the understanding I just explained. I think 90% of the population would be very happy with this product.

Sparkle is back, baby!
The media could not be loaded. This light is a series of thin wires holding strategically placed crystals. One wrong move and you have a tangled disaster you might have to rent scaffolding and spend hours correcting. (That's a whole nother story that really tested a 25 year marriage!)After 2 years the whole thing had become dull with dust and was no longer the wow factor it's supposed to be.I was looking for something that wouldn't require scaffolding and hours of untangling to be able to bring the sparkle back to this chandelier.Turns out this product was the ticket. I followed the directions exactly. I ended up spraying it three times maybe more and still have plenty of product left to complete another round of this if I needed to.It's hard to really show how effective it is, but if you look at my walls and the stairs in the video, you can see the reflection of the sunlight hitting the crystals. I haven't seen that in at least a year because the thing had become so dusty. It did not leave the crystals as clear as they were when I hand polished them individually, but also I can only reach a handful of crystals without having to rent scaffolding and there's the whole "risk of tangle" so this is certainly a reasonable and appreciated compromise.I am very pleased with this product. And I'll absolutely purchase it again.

Here is my trick for the light bulb part.....
I have a chandelier in my hallway that has a drum shade with crystals (sort of like this one.) I made the STUPID mistake of not covering it when I was doing some drywall sanding in an adjacent room. I was so sad that all my sparkle was gone. I TRIED to clean the crystals one by one (inside and out) but the clips and such kept getting caught on my cloth and it just wasn't working.I dreaded the thought of taking hundreds of crystals off, cleaning them one by one, then trying to reattach them. I hate making extra work for myself if there is an easier way. So I figured I had nothing to lose by trying this. I didn't want to unwire or any of that crap, but feared spraying right onto an electrical device. It was switched off, but still. What I did was just cover the lights (like the little candles) with plastic shopping bags. Then I laid a few empty garbage bags underneath. That way they and my floor were protected from drips. It worked SUPER well. After it was dry, I just took the bags off. The bags were fine...you can use them again, plus no sheets or dropcloths to wash! (I told you I didn't like extra work!!! ha ha!!) Everything covered safe and untouched.I have another chandelier that is more ornate with lots of metal. On that one I used pieces of Glad Press'n Seal Wrap on all the places I didn't want saturated with cleaner. It still does get in some places, and I do spray liberally, but the plastic protects the metal. I don't think this cleaner would mess up the finish on the metal parts...I mean lots of metal got sprayed and it was fine, but I still think that protecting what I easily could was a good idea. I wasn't crazy and covered every single metal thing; just the big parts.I love that the cleaner helps sort of "sheet" the dirt off. You don't have to rub or get fingerprints (or wear gloves!) It is a rinsing/cleaner..just like washing your car or in your dishwasher.I did have to clean the one with joint compound dust all over it twice. But now it is sparkly and rainbow-y again!!! I LOVE any product that makes a tedious chore easy!
