MUST-have for subwoofers and speaker stands!
The circle of confusion and the insane amounts of incorrect information when it comes to audiophile accessories is wild and why you hear stories of people believing how things like how $10k cables improves their system sound. It's easy to be skeptical here, why should I spend a couple hundred bucks on some patented speaker feet? The truth is, there is nothing snake oil-y about these IsoAcoustics Gaia isolation feet, which I use on ALL of my subwoofers and bookshelf speaker stands and have done so for over a decade. In short, not only does using them improve and tightens the sound of the bass by 'floating' the subwoofer, but also stops most of the vibrations from going through the floor and walls. No more pesky neighbors telling you to turn it down! Be sure to check that the subwoofer thread size for the pre-installed feet matches what is provided, and of course be sure to not overload the rated weight if you plan on stacking items on top. If you are using these correctly, there is absolutely zero downside in the effect it has on your system sound, and is one of the biggest bang for buck returns you can get short of upgrading your speakers, electrical gear, or even adding acoustic room treatment which often costs way more. Big fan of all IsoAcoustics, excellent products backed by science and well worth their cost for anyone serious about audio.

They make a difference
Look I’ve researched these things for 2 years. Reviews go from omg how did I listen to music without them to I can’t hear anything different, waste of money. Like Apple IA spent a lot of money on presentation (packaging). They also give you variety of hardware so they will probably fit your speakers and plenty of instructions in box on YouTube ( highly recommended). But they are expensive. That said they are well made and absolutely made a difference. Sometimes when I read reviews there’s no delineation between fact and opinion and I hate that. So here’s what I’m going to do, just tell you what exactly these feet did for MY /ME sound . Reduced what I call bad bass. Crisper cleaner sound. And definitely helped with TT hum at the low end. Every once in a while if the bass passages are really down there I’d hear a vibration hum from the TT. That’s gone. Clearer crisper sound less almost muddy bass! Home run worth the money. Keep in mind I have ,for me in my life, a high end system Marantz TOL and 84lb speakers in a mostly carpeted room and these feet helped clean that up. Lots of me me me but that’s because like food it is somewhat subjective. I can tell a bad , mediocre sound system. The difference between 5k snd 25 k is NOT subjective it’s an ocean of difference, But when your at the 25k plus system and you add these feet or better wires etc etc ( rabbit hole) the differences are not as obvious. For me these feet make a clear easy to hear difference. But my wife didn’t notice a thing and told me a wasted my money 💰 💥🥊😂

People Need To Know About IsoAcoustics
Spoiler Alert--These things are Awesome!! I don't write too many reviews, but felt compelled to write this one--a Love Letter to IsoAcoustics. Like a lot of audiophiles, I spend a lot of time and money looking for ways to improve the sound of my system. Short of new speakers, and maybe a new DAC, IsoAcoustics Gaia isolation feet offer the biggest improvement of anything you can change in your setup. Certainly no other 'accessory' comes close. This is no exaggeration. I have tried various cables, power conditioners, room acoustical treatments, etc. and non have made the positive impact that these feet have. The one thing they don't do that surprised me a little was they don't 'clean the window', 'remove a layer of haze', or whatever audio cliche you want to use for making music sound more clear. Instead of cleaning the lens, what they do is focus it. Soundstage definition improves a LOT. A mass of noise becomes clearly defined instruments and voices. It won't fix a bad recording, but you will better hear what is in the grooves or bits. Not sure the last time you had a 'Holy Crap' moment when listening to your stereo, but I just had one when I installed the IsoAcoustic feet. Other benefits include the fact that I hear only improvement in the sound. Often when you change a component, there is a tradeoff. Maybe you give up some richness for improved clarity. I have given up nothing, nor heard any negative effect from the feet. Also, there is no tweaking to be done once installed, and no burn in time required. They sound great from the minute they are screwed on. Hundreds of dollars for feet when your speakers already have some might seem like a lot to spend, until you hear what they can do. And, if you ever sell your speakers (or other component where you have the feet installed) you can remove them easily, install the old feet, and put the IsoAcoustics feet on another pair of speakers to continue to enjoy their benefits. A no brainer buy.

Allows your speakers to create greater musical realism.
I’ve used a set of IsoAcoustics III under my main HiFi speakers for the past five years. So, if longevity correlates with pleasure, these are one of the best things I’ve ever added to my HiFi. But, as a caveat, I worked for the North American Distributor that served as IsoAcoustics incubator as they just entered the global marketplace. I sold their products for eight years all across the United States before I left the distribution company. Fast forward seven years, January of this year, I took a position with IsoAcoustics as their USA Sales Manager and am again representing their products. All to say, it would be easy to say I’m just saying positive things because that’s where my paycheck comes from, but I purchased my set of Gaia III after I left the company years ago and they have remained under my main speakers everyday since. It is no exaggeration to say, until you’ve listened to your speakers with IsoAcoustics isolators under them, you’ve not heard all the musicality your loudspeaker manufacturer designed into them, due to uncontrolled resonance (vibration) re-entering your cabinets due to contact with the floor. As a music lover, I’ve found these products an indispensable part of my stereo listening experience. My finest - JB

Improvs the low end
I would say that it made the low end more focused. Up until now I bought similar products more for the feature of not scratching the floor and ease of relocating. I wish I had the resolve to test them against the others I have, since they are a lot more expensive. Im still not sure if I like the suction, it was a bit of a hustle to position the speakers because of that.

Don't try this at home
I have been an audiophile and DIYr for 60 years. This product is one of the most frustrating ones I have ever had the misfortune to attempt to assemble. First, you can only install them if your speakers have footers that can be removed. Second, once you remove yours, you need wood inserts and holes into which to screw these footers that match one of the 4 sizes that come with this product. If your original footers do not have inserts, you must drill a hole commensurate with the size screw you have chosen for the weight of your speakers. Third, don't expect your local hardware store to have the metric/SAE size you need. Forth, if you've gotten this far, and are screwing in the new footers, the insert will likely grind the walls of the hole you just drilled and turn with each turn of the supplied footer screws, meaning you will not likely get 8 of them screwed tight to the base of your speakers. Fifth, you will spend (waste) quite some time trying to figure out why you were supplied with a box wrench for round washers. Sixth, if you think all you need to do to improve the sound in your room is to tweak the hight of the footers, you have not fully grasped the number one law of home stereo equipment--the room in which your system is planted is the final immutable determination of the sound in your room. There is only so much you can do to improve that sound to your liking, especially when these footers might/or is likely to change your "sweet spot", e.g. where the tweeters now catch your ear. However, if you really want to spend a lot of money to keep your hardwood floors from getting scratched, go for it.

Gaia II on Kef R7 Meta speakers
I put the Gaia II feet on my KEF R7Meta speakers that sit on 3/4" thick wood over concrete floors. I noticed the bass response was not quite as loud, but tighter and crisp (!) . Mid range and voices became clearer. I'm not sure how much this had to do with the feet themselves or if it is just that the Uni-Q mid range/tweeters are now 1" higher up and closer to my seated ear level, either way I'm very pleased with these. These are very well built and "black chrome" finish looks awesome.

Lohnt sich, aber teuer
Unsere B&W Nautilus 803 Boxen klingen spürbar besser, transparenter, volumiger ...und die Bässe haben eine ganz andere Druckkraft. Teuer, aber wirklich empfehlenswert.

A Worthwhile Audiophile Upgrade
I am usually skeptical about buying audiophile accessories and did question whether adding a set of GAIA II would cause a significant uplift in the sonic performance of my Focal Aria 936 floor-standing speakers. After reading several reviews and finding out that that GAIA received an EISA award finally gave me sufficient reason to buy the product to test it out in my own home. To my delight, I immediate detected an improvement to my stereo system after installing the GAIA II. The bass was noticeably tighter than before. The middle and higher frequencies also sounded cleaner. This product is certainly a worthwhile upgrade as it made my stereo system sound more resolved. As much as I would like to see competing products all lower prices on the market I have not yet found any. To spend US$600 on a set of "rubber feet" to support a pair of US$4,000 speakers did challenge my previous thinking a bit. What I have learnt in this instance is that one does not know what the performance gaps are in a systems until certain components a swapped out and the change in output is observed.

Received used and opened product
Bought 2 of these and one of the boxes arrived with no plastic seal. Interior was dirty and obviously someone had opened it and put dirty hands inside. For such an expensive product am very disappointed.

Just Brilliant!
These are a revelation!!!! They have successfully decoupled my floor standing speaks from the (original) wooden floorboards they sit on and the bass has improved significantly! No longer is it as dominant as before and the balance and soundstage have improved! Worth considering if you find your physical environment is negatively impacting the performance of your speakers and especially if suffering from too much or uncontrolled bass. They are not cheap ... but the improvement is more than worth the money!!

IMPRESCINDIBLES
