My bike had holes available for different ways for installation, but one way just didn’t work since the guard was essentially touching the wheel. The second way required more steps but felt sturdy considering it was tightened in a hole above the front wheel. My only concern right now is if it’ll fall out while riding, even though i tightened it to maximum capacity. Two different methods for attachment which is really good. The rear guard is attached to the seat pole with rubber inserts to suit different pole diameters. The rear guard has a double adjustment capability and it's all very easy to assemble and install. Very good quality and I would highly recommend this product. However, no fitting instructions in the pack.
