Pretty fun little table lamp that operates more like indirect wall washer. Good brightness and the gradient scenes and effects are cool. Easily tied to Apple home and the Hue app. You have to save scenes from the Hue app into Apple home so not as user friendly there but the hue app does allow you to play and then save to Apple so it’s not lost functionality, just requires you to use the Hue app more than you might want to for all the different color schemes. The area of wall it lights is not much taller than the lamp so the indirect area is a bit short but I am comparing it to the floor lamp which also only really lights as tall as it is. The indirect lighting does pretty well with a floor and table lamp vs 2 table lamps before. Pointed at a wall they send out enough light to be too bright sometimes but you aren’t looking at the LED tube directly so no blinding bright line. The gradient feature is pretty cool especially if you want some weird lighting. Flickering candle and a wave reflection like setting are neat. Different colors the whole length to create decent area light with a color wall effect that kinda blends into a usable whitish area light or you can use a single color to give the whole room that same hue. Can tie multiple of these together to operate on same color schemes or different or invert one gradient so the same colors are opposite. I don’t use a lot of the features but sometimes it’s nice to change to something different.

It’s nice and unusual looking lamp. It can be quite bright which is helpful when reading. I am very pleased with purchase. I do have hue bridge and it added to hue family effortlessly.

The brightness of this item is perfect. I placed it behind my computer monitor, and it looks like I’m in a scene from Tron. There aren’t any buttons to press, but it feels very high-quality with a metal base. It might not be ideal if you want it next to your TV, though, because off-axis the bright glare line can be visible. You can lower the brightness, so it ultimately depends on your seating position. I’ve bought another pair because I liked it so much. Edit I bought two white ones, and they arrived in perfect condition. But when I ordered two black ones, both pieces came damaged, one worse than the other. The LED bar is wobbly on both units, and even worse, the front acrylic cover has a visible open gap. Very disappointed. You can see the gap in the first photo. Edit Amazon replaced the light and were very professional about it .

Cool light in addition to my setup. only drawback is the pricing...but came very well packaged and it's a solid design. I didn't have to assemble anything, very plug-n-play and user friendly...the size was perfect for a nightstand and doesn't take up space at all, the base is small. The quality of the light is very good and bright, I believe there's a LED strip inside and provides cool effects when using the HUE app. I will be purchasing the floor lamp version next!

So I love this thing. No notes except that it’s so expensive for what it is. That’s hard to justify. But if you already have hue lights set up it integrates seamlessly and easily. The colors are bright and the gradient effects are beautiful. Love the ambiance as well as practicality as a table lamp at my desk

So this Philips hue lamp is basically like having a little piece of a sci-fi movie right on my desk. It’s super easy to use and we’re having a blast with it. One of our favorite scenes is called Winter Bliss and it just sets such a nice vibe, especially in the evenings. It’s not the brightest lamp out there, but the colors are so cool and mesmerizing that we don’t mind at all. Plus, even our dog - she’s a fan! loves chilling with the fireplace effect flickering while we watch a movie. if you want a lamp that looks futuristic and has a ton of fun scenes and effects this one is highly recommended!

This is one of those reviews that happen unfortunately because of the sheer price of the product. It is an amazing lamp that hooks up to Alexa and your cell phone pretty much instantly and looks fantastic. The problem is that it is egregiously expensive considering you can get knock off versions for hundreds of dollars cheaper. That being said I don’t regret the purchase I just have a hard time justifying spending that much money.

Ça fesait longtemps que je me cherchait une lampe de cette hauteur, j'ai hésiter avant de l'acheter considérant le prix élevé, mais ca vaut le coup, elle est parfaite et fonctionne vraiment bien.

Beautiful lamp

Es como de 40cm brilla mas que un hue go o algo similar. Se tiene que poner de preferencia apuntando hacia una pared. Amazon la vende como nuevo pero, asi como otras personas han tenido problema con empaque, el mio llego abierto y sin caja de envio.
