This unit is the perfect weight while having beautiful fit and finish. And there is zero slop as it sits on the spindle - not too loose or tight.

Beautiful finished product
Beautifully finished. Chrome adds a touch of class and flash to the turntable as well as function. You may find something cheaper, but I doubt it will be better. Remember you get what you pay for.

Very nice. Keeps the vinyl flat and in place especially those older ones or if you got a few that are slightly warped. Even comes in a nice wooden box, that I have since allocated for other purposes.

It's shiny.
As we all know, sometimes an LP will not lie flat on the turntable. The horror. You push it down but it just will not stay flat. BOOM, enter the Nobsound STB-01 LP Vinyl Turntable Metal Disc Stabilizer Record Weight. While it holds the wayward LP flat, I did not notice any other benefit. Well, it is shiny, and has a cool name, Nob sound.

Simple, smart purchase!
Turntable weights aren't that complicated, but this one has a little style. Not too expensive, but did come in a nice box with a pillow. It's a little tall for my U-Turn Orbit Plus turntable, but a couple of felt pads fixed that. I might have gone with a shorter weight for that turntable (it has a pretty short lid), but I highly recommend. The records visibly flatten out compared to not using a weight, and the shape of the weight means that you are less likely to contact the weight with the tone arm.

I’m skeptical about almost every gadget out there. I heard the weight makes a difference by keeping the vinyl more secure on the platter and allows the needle to be more stable while reading the information. It works, I don’t hear as much static and there’s more fidelity to my music.
