Zamst A2-DX Sports Ankle Brace with Protective Guards For High Ankle Sprains and Chronic Ankle Instability-for Basketball, Volleyball, Lacrosse, Football-White, Right XL

I wear a size 15 4E shoe with a high instep and high volume foot. I am an athlete using this for protection coming back from a severe ankle sprain and fracture. The XL model just fits me if Ive had my leg elevated beforehand. As long as your foot is less than 12 inches around, as I show in the attached photo, you should be fine. That is the limit of the neoprene’s stretch. I’m still in the phase with dependent swelling and probably wouldn’t be able to get it on comfortably if my foot were swollen from gravity. I wear a sock under mine— if I could get a compression sock on first it would probably be even better. As long as you have a shoe with a low enough heel counter, this device is actually really good and I like it so much better than the boot options. I can even walk around in some Oofos slides and I feel totally secure against reinjury from inversion or eversion. The boots I was offered for the first 4 weeks after coming out of my splint weren’t great. You could still invert and evert your ankle slightly if you could get your muscles to activate. Getting my flexion and dorsiflexion back was nice and having this brace for rehab is so much nicer than dealing with a 30lb boot. When I first put it on, I honestly couldn’t believe Steph Curry plays basketball in these, but, hey, they work.

Love them 10/10 saved me from a few ankle sprains so far. Well worth the investment, I recommend buying them on Amazon so if they don’t fit you can return them and get a bigger/smaller size. On the Zamst website you can only return them if the are brand new unworn, go ahead and ask me how I know 😂

The velcro on the brace came off of the plastic after 1 wear. Very disappointed, support is great, but for the cost I thought the brace would stay together more than 1 use. The brace needs the velcro for the hard plastic to attach to the rest of the brace

Not easy to use, straps get mixed up often and hard to figure out how to put it on

I purchased this for my son after recovering from a severe ankle injury from basketball where his ankle rolled badly on landing. The sturdiness of this brace gives him peace of mind now that his ankle cannot roll again, thus preventing further damage. The hard plastic is not removable so I hand wash them, but it's well worth it.

This is the best thought through and designed foot brace that I have encountered. It is absolutely excellent. There are many on the market which are really poor ( in design and construction) and much more expensive. Really happy, relieved and impressed. Really well made and designed.

Quality is Good, Price is more but it is worth to buy, if you have any ankle problem
