Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote fits Toyota Avalon, Solara 2005 2006 2007 2008 (GQ43VT20T 4-Btn)

Directions to program worked good for my 2007 toyota solara. Very easy to program. Looks and works like the original.

I recently bought a 2006 Toyota Avalon. I did not come with any remotes so I thought that I would try a replacement fob rather than paying a dealer. I was able to program two remotes using the following sequence: 1. Start with The key out of the ignition, Drivers door is open, All other doors and trunk closed and drivers door is unlocked. All other doors are locked 2. Perform these steps within 5 seconds. A. Insert the key into the ignition (Do NOT Turn it) and Pull key out. B. Insert the key into the ignition (Do NOT Turn it) and Pull key out. 3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Close then open the drivers door. B. Close then open the drivers door. C. Insert the key into the ignition (Do NOT Turn it) and Pull key out. 4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Close then open the drivers door. B. Close then open the drivers door. C. Insert the key into ignition and leave it in the ignition. D. Close the drivers door. E. Turn the ignition to ON (Do NOT Start or crank engine) then back to OFF. F. Remove the key from the ignition. 5. Within 3 seconds, The power door locks should lock then unlock automatically indicating successful entry into programming mode. Return to step 1 if the door locks do not cycle at this point. At this point the programming mode has been entered. I think that it stays in programming until the door is opened. 6. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously for 1.5 seconds. B. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons, Press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. If the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps A and B in step 6 as the remote was not accepted. C. Repeat steps A and B in step 6 for each new remote. 7. Open drivers door. 8. Test the newly programmed remotes.

It works! Watched a YouTube video to program it it was super easy!! Very pleased Update March 31, 2026 bought February 26,2026. Key fob unlock button stopped working, kinda upset but I mean what did I expect for a $13 item.

My key fob stopped working and I felt unsafe because I was unable to unlock my door quickly. I was told that to replace the key fob it would be hundreds of dollars and since my car is older I do not want to spend the money. I like to DIY things and so I looked up if it was possible to reprogram a fob by yourself/buy one off Amazon and came to this product. I was doubtful but I just bought it anyways due to its affordable price. I can 100% say that both of these key fobs were easy to program and they work so well and each button works opening the trunk on lock lock and even the alarm. I have a Toyota Solara it and it’s from 2007 I can’t promise that this will work for other vehicles but I can say that for me it worked awesome and I’m so happy!!!!

I purchase one and the quality was horrible the internal mechanisms broke within 2 weeks. The seller quickly issued a replacement witch you can tell clearly is a better quality. Not sure of the reason because they are both from the same company. However, I'm completely satisfied with the purchase.

I found instructions on YouTube on how to code for my vehicle. It took 8 attempts to get the code to work so persistence is needed. Seems to work fine.

Ordered for my sister. No instructions to program, however, it can be found on the internet. My sister now loves her car again. No longer have to open her vehicle by key.
