Perfect for hands free. That red part by the switch is soft rubber perfect for bite or holding with teeth. My switch works good. Nice amount of white and red illumination for pilot use outside and inside the plane.

This light is bright, durable (I’ve washed it in my pocket at least 3 times) the perfect size, only wish it was rechargeable. Great value tho

We bought this for a trip, as a nice bright flashlight that wouldn't take up much room or weight in my backpack, and at first, it worked great. So, along with our regular flashlights, we brought this one on a spelunking trip.After merely two hours, it died. We thought maybe the batteries (which came with the flashlight) were old, so we put in brand new batteries.That worked for less than TWO HOURS, so we replaced them AGAIN, with a third set of brand new batteries. Again, in less than two hours, the flashlight died.Fortunately, we've done enough cave exploration to have brought with us additional flashlights; but if anyone actually had to RELY on this flashlight, they'd end up with dead batteries after two hours. This isn't something safe to keep in your backpack or car for when you need light, it has NO staying power.We've never seen a flashlight drain batteries so fast! And it would cost more in time/gas to return this, than the refund would be; so we're just going to dispose of it with trash like this.

The colors are on a rotation. So you can't keep it on one color without leaving it on the whole time. I really only wanted it for the red light, and I have to click through the white and blue every time I turn it on. I have it as a back up, but I bought the streamlight stylus for regular use.
