This has helped my wife so much. After a compression fracture at T8 it has helped keep her straight without being too constructive. Comes off easily but took some time to figure out how to use it. It comes apart easily for cleaning. We put the parts in the washer and dryer and they were fine. One advantage over other braces is that it has shoulder straps lime a back pack and a bar in the front which helps pull the spine up relieving pain. The only down side is that the front part can feel a bit constricting until you get used to it. Also wonder if it might be dangerous to use while driving if an airbag deployed.

Definitely not worth what you pay for it. The velcro won't hold the stomach piece in place strong enough to get a nice tight fit. The shoulder straps are very hard to adjust. I was really hoping that this would be the brace I had been looking for, but it was not to be. Definitely save your money on this one.

This back brace looks very sturdy and well made. What i don't like about it, due to my physical disabilities, mostly from my back down to my waist, is that since I live mostly on a bed..a sedentary lifestyle, i can't lie down with this brace. Neither face up or sideways due to its hard surface on the back. That would've been too uncomfortable. I reluctantly had to return it. I will consult with my spine specialist & hear what he believes I should use, especially after my upcoming BIG spinal surgery. (I should've asked him first). It is a well made product and I was sorry that I had to teturn it. 😔

I found this brace very helpful for the price. It supports and restricts movement quite will and it's super easy to put on by your self. But, I'm a pretty large guy and I found that it chafed my supersized love handles. I returned it and got the more expensive one, which seems to be the next generation. It's even easier to put on because both of the strings connect to one side instead of two and the wrap around sides are a less cumbersome design so. I would keep it if not for my individual challenge. If you are a smaller build get it.

My orthopedic spine doctor said I needed to stabilize my back for two compressed fractured vertebrae to heal. She said this was the same brace her office would order for me but at a much lower price (I’m cash pay). The brace was easy to adjust and put on. Felt bulky at first but any brace that is supposed to restrict spine movement will. My pain greatly reduced within a couple days and I believe my vertebrae are healing because the brace restricts my movement- no bending, twisting my back. Doctor has me wearing it for 6 weeks. And then PT. Side note, as a woman wearing the brace, I wear it over a tank top or t-shirt and put a light shawl or other flowy shirt over it, as it pushes breasts up and I don’t feel comfortable looking like a Renaissance barmaid.

Too complicated to use without some type of professional instructions

I have had this for less than a year, and the front plate has completely cracked and broke as i use this everyday and all day due to severe ddd and having 5 herniated disc. I find it easy to use, the fit is perfect, very comfortable. I wish it was under warranty because at the time I had bought this, it was over 200.00. Just disappointed that this product didn't last more than a year for the value of the money that i had paid for it and wish it had a better warranty.
