Buy it!!!! Do not even hesitate to buy this helmet!!!! This helmet is of great Quality you will dig it, it does it’s job and does it right and it is a great price!!!!! Yes!!! There are more expensive helmets out there and yes there are cheaper helmets out there. But this helmet is strong, it and everything on it functions perfectly, it’s got mad style, it looks Bad Ass on your head, it has triple protection and the price, is absolutely amazing. Long story, longer. This helmet fits and feels great on your head, it looks super cool, it has amazing features and Most importantly it works great and it is tough as nails. It fits your head snuggly even without wearing the chinstrap, with the chinstrap on your chin, it fits really secretly and with the ear protection on, you will feel as though not even a tornado could rip this helmet off your head. You really don’t even need to wear the chin strap if you are using the ear protection. And yes the ear protection works great. I bought this helmet for arboring and I really like it for that but I will admit it, I wore this helmet during a large wood burn, yes I did feel like the biggest Puss wearing a helmet during a wood burn, but “I’ll tell you what”!!!! I will never do another wood burn without wearing a helmet with a face shield, the screen face shield on this helmet kept my face 30° cooler when I was standing close to the hot Fire I’m not much of a chinstrap wearing kind of guy, but wearing the chinstrap with this helmet does definitely make it way more secure on your head and it just feels and fits better when wearing the chinstrap. Specially if you wear glasses, the chinstrap will keep the forehead section of the helmet riding a little higher on your forehead, to keep the helmet from hitting your glasses and being uncomfortable. One negative, is that the adjustable air vents / heat vents on the side of the helmet are a little tricky to get to when the ear protection is attached, but it’s no big deal, you can still work it.

This helmet fits well and provides good protection. I am glad I bought it. It provides good protection when you are working in the trees.

Decided to up upgrade from a basic stihl helmet. It is A very nice helmet. Very comfortable to wear. The ear muffs are nice, but they are not as beefy as the stihl ones and the way they felt was cheap. One nice thing was you can use the stihl muffs with this helmet. The one minus is the chin strap sucks and i can't get it to fit at all, so I removed it. With the back adjustable strap, works great and keeps the helmet firm on the head.

We did 4 days of chipping with an industrial 12" chipper and it kept us safe. The ear protection could be a bit better but the machine was a monster. It was quiet enough for chain saw work. I liked the screen rather than a plexiglass shield, but some wood dust came through if the wind shifted. It fits tight, and not easy to adjust the chin strap, but overall it did the job well.

It works well, perfect for a weekend warrior such as myself.

Very comfortable, well built and good sound protection. I wore this helmet for about a week of tree pruning with a gas chain saw in hot weather. The helmet was super comfortable, snug without the chinstrap, and the face shield did a great job while allowing good visibility. The integrated ear protection worked well. It took a while to figure out how to put the pieces together. That did not stop me from buying another one for a different location. It still warrants 5 stars.

This helmet saved my dad's life! Widow maker fell unexpectedly, long story short he was airlifted with a broken back and brain bleed even with the helmet! With out things would be much different. Saftey is priceless!

Very inexpensive helmet. Used the last 9 days. Ear protection is good. Helmet suspension is comfortable. Vizer is a little difficult to see threw and a bit large. Biggest wish is that the ear protection would release outward in addition to the rotation. For the price it is great.

Although Forestry helmets are still way behind cycling helmets for example, this helmet is extremely reliable. The hat is great quality, the straps work and are easily adjustable from the back. It is bright. The ear muffs are really solid and work very well and the mask is very good quality and easily removed if you prefer to wear just glasses. I’ve tried a few, this is great. Worth the investment. One thing, it is fairly heavy compared to a basic mesh mask and ear muffs, so you wouldn’t want this imho for brush cutting for example. You would need one for each task.
