Super Yum!
Our Dutch neighbor turned us on to hagelslag. I'm simply smitten! This is such a delicious treat on a nice piece of bread with butter (even the fake non-dairy butter I use). It comes in several flavors and they are all yummy!

One of the best things from the Netherlands!
This is a wonderful Dutch tradition. Our friends from Holland brought this Hagel (hail or hard rain) to my kids and thus began a cultural exchange. One spreads butter on a piece of bread and sprinkle the chocolate over the bread or it can be used over ice cream or even eaten out of the hand! It's VERY good chocolate!
