Best at home gloss!!
This gloss is great. I bought Crystal Quartz for a clear professional finish to my at home hair coloring and I am in love!I’ve never used a gloss before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, or what I was even doing. It was truly as simple as wetting my hair, pouring one bottle into the main bottle, putting it on, and rinsing. I left it in for 15 minutes and the shine is insane.

It's Simply AMAZING!!
This is my first time using a semi permanent hair gloss that required two steps. I tried a couple of drugstore so-called glosses and they literally dried my hair out like straw, turned it an ugly dark mud brown despite what the container showed the color was supposed to be and made it duller than it was to begin with.Not this gloss! OMG! I've been searching for a product to help improve the condition of my hair while my body adjusts to coming off of prednisone which basically ruined all my hair and turned it into dry, brittle, dull straw. I followed the directions exactly and allowed it to sit on my hair for 20 minutes. I then lightly shampooed it and went from there.My hair actually feels like it did before I ever went on Prednisone! Even though I used the clear gloss, it still toned done all the brassiness out of my hair and turned it back to my natural deep, rich auburn. It was like it knew what my hair needed and automatically fixed it!I had hoped for it to make my hair shinier and healthier looking but this was a completely unexpected side benefit!I highly recommend Kristen Ess Signature gloss to ANYONE as long as you choose your correct color (if you decide not to choose the clear). After one use I am completely sold on this product and will continue to use it regularly!

Disappointed-def not worth it. I have thick wavy hair that can be frizzy. Could tell no difference, and as I was blow drying my hair I was freaking out bc it was extra dry and weird gummy. W no extra shine or enhancement at all. I love several products from this brand, and liked the fact it’s vegan and free of some key bad ingredients.

Ok but not great
Did not significantly improve shine, I would say maybe a 25% increase in shine. I did anticipate it making my hair a little smoother too, which it did not. The first photo was after and the second was before. Works in a pinch, but not comparable to salon quality!
