L LOHAS LED Yellow Bug Light Bulbs Outdoor, PAR38 LED Flood Light Outside

I wish I had gotten these sooner!!! My husband said there were no moths no bugs no cicadas last night. What a difference these amber colored floodlights make. We used to see just swarms of insects. It really was awful trying to sit on the porch at night because of all the flying insects. A great value for my money. There is no noise from these bulbs. Installation was quick and easy. They fit perfect!! The light they put off is bright but not too bright. It is a warm glow and is very pleasant!! I know it says yellow on the advertisement page but the box says amber colored light bulbs. I do not know why this is but they still work as intended. I do not know about the lifespan because we just got these bulbs.

So far they are great . Put out enough light but the bugs stay away . Hope they last a long time . 👍

Very colorful and easy to use. Highly recommend this for colorful outdoor recessed lighting.

When I was reading the reviews I was skeptical of the light output of these lamps but a couple of the comments on how bright they were made me take my chances. The minute they arrived, I began the switch from white lamps to amber. Then I waited till the evening to see the results. And what a surprise! I guess the bright illumination is paring with the other lights in the cul'd'sac. Now the view from my two security cameras is much better and the colors on the grass and plants are brighter and stronger. Better yet, as to insects, none--the main reason to get these lamps. Up till yesterday (during certain seasons), my white door had a few flying insects dancing over and around it, attracted by the door's color. I just checked and there are none on the door, the lamps or anywhere in the porch. UPDATE. Days later, still no bugs. I cannot believe the extent by which the white spotlights attracted all types of insects which ended up flying up and down over my white door. What a relief! SECOND ORDER FOR INDOORS. I tried this bulb in a floor lamp by my recliner and began reading a very small print. It was better for my eyes since the light pointed up--no direct flow of light toward me. These are amber and I marveled at the warmth the lamps add to the room--indoors!

These lights actually make a huge difference in the number of insects that get drawn to the door. Prior to getting these I removed all exterior lights because every time we opened the door at night bugs would flood into the house, but it was too dark to go without lights altogether. I ordered these to see if they would be bright enough to light the entry without drawing all the insects to them. They worked like a charm! There are still insects around, but they seem to be relatively indifferent to these amber lights (as opposed to swarming your traditional lights). I have them at all my entries now!

I was not too impressed when I opened the package. I bought these for a Halloween display. It is very difficult to find orange colored Spotlight where I live. Once the display was set up and it got dark I was extremely pleased on how bright and how rich the color from these bulbs was. I recommend.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, AMAZON will not refund you when the bulbs one-by-one, burn out long before the 9-year lifetime rating printed on the box. You will be up and down on the ladder replacing them. THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. AMAZON should not contract with this SELLER, who uses FALSE ADVERTISING. We purchased 24 bulbs and 8 burned out. The lights started failing the 3rd Christmas we used them, which ruined our holiday display. In total, they were used less than 10 weeks, for only a few hours at night. AMAZON refers you to the seller, who will not replace the lights after a year. Because we bought the red/green lights only for use during the holidays, obviously we were outside the return window when they started to fail the following Christmas. You will however get a "sincere" apology from both AMAZON and the seller in China.
