Nice closer. Was much cheaper than the one I got the price for at my local glass repair shop. My door works so great now. I would definitely recommend getting this. 🤞 It stands up to time/usage.

Excellent product. Very strong. Holds well even for an out swinging door on a windy day. Had a different brand before and it failed so badly that the door was destroyed. This one is definitely worth the money. The adjustability is very good. Even the instructions were better.

This was a replacement for a 20+ year old closer I had in place. It worked perfectly. It was easy to install and had all the right parts. Very good commercial quality.

I'm not sure how much of a name brand Dynasty is - we've always had Assa Abloy closers, I think - but this one is a very good alternative. The quality for the price is terrific. The directions are a bit less clear, and the adjustments are not as precise, but it's a solid closer and the tradeoffs are definitely worth it.

Beyond expectation. Purchased door closers thru Grainger for $400 dollars plus and the quality and durability do not come close to these for a fraction of the price . Recommend to anyone looking for a heavy duty products. Adjustable for a various door sizes and weights , clear instillation instructions. I mounted three of these inside freezers that maintain -8° F year round and the doors are heavier duty then common doors and they work like a charm.

Perfect replacement for the LCN 4041. All of the holes match up perfectly, as a replacement mechanism it couldn’t have been easier to install. . I would definitely recommend this product for either a replacement or a new installation. . Provides a very soft silent clothes for heavy industrial doors .

The arm was missing and the cover cracked

I wasn't exactly inspired by the 'Dynasty' name, but this is a nice looking unit with a cast iron body. It feels like quality. I expect it to last for a good while on the front door of our retail store. If it doesn't I will be sure to update this review! The product was well packaged and the included templates seemed good. Of course the written instructions included the usual Chinglish/OCR type gobbledegook, but there's enough that is intelligible for you to figure it out. Just be sure to mount it with the adjustment screws facing out, not towards the door! Talking of which, the screws are, going from the 'square' end to the 'round' end: Latch speed, main speed, backcheck force.

Easy to install, lots of adjustments to fine tune it so you don't cut the cat in half. Will purchase more.

First of all I want to say that the closer is extremely well manufactured and the mechanisms are incredibly heavy duty. This is not a cheap facimile or something. The only piece of it even remotely less than heavy duty is the silver color, which is plastic, but is just a decorative cover and painted. I was not dissapointed with the general build quality. I will say that the main issue I had was due to a drafting error on the template. The system can be mounted in 3 different ways, and I needed to mount mine on the pull side. The template holes are in the right spot, but the template has text that makes it appear that it is flippable for right to left. It is NOT. You MUST mount the piston so that the top of the spot where the arm mounts is flush with the top of the door. If you use the template this way, you run the risk of mounting it 1/4" too low. I did this, and couldn't remount it higher because the holes in the door would be too close to the old holes. The drafter of the template made it look like you could use this as-is for the left side, but you cannot! Flip the page over, use the template for the left side on the other side of the paper. (see the attached drawing) I ended up working with a friend with a metal lathe to get a spacer fabricated so I could leave the piston mounted low, and still clear the top of the door with the arm. Other than that you should be ok ;-)
