Great cable works as intended
Talk back cable came as expected in perfect working order with no annoying echo like other cheap cables. Just wish the cable was a little longer but otherwise it's a definite must buy for those looking for a chat cable.

Pro:This cable does work with the Astro Rx/Tx 5.8 Mixamp. Because the 3.5mm Jack is angled, it doesn't interfere with back-paddle hand placement for the Elite controller.Cons:NoneImprovents:The cable could have better shielding as it looks and feels cheap. Something braided would be nice, or at least something a bit more thicc.

Works with A50s
Works perfect for the 2nd Gen A50.

Total junk
The fit when it was new caused immediate concern. The end that plugs into my Astro A50s wasn't snug at all, barely connecting. Then the cable failed after just two months of light use, causing the connection to go in an out constantly. I replaced it with the ienza brand cable and it immediately fit better and my friends say it improved the voice quality as well. I'd avoid this.

Breaks easily.
Ordered to replace the chat cable for my Astro A40s. This cable worked great for all of 1 day. Went to plug it back into my controller the next day and the cable was having connection issues with the sound going in and out.

Great fix for Astro headset to XBox 1 for chat
Bought for Astro A50 headphone-microphone to replace the cable connection to Xbox One controller for chat. Works great! You do not need the adapter that is stated in the product listing. The cable plugs straight into controller.

This cable works perfectly. Mic function confirmed working on my First Gen Astro A 50s. Plugs directly into the newer controllers with 3.5mm jack. Couod not be more impressed!
