Kmise 23 Inch Concert Ukulele, Tiger Flame, Classical Headstock Ukelele Kit

What a Great Package! This soprano is not just a great deal but it really packs a punch in both looks and in sound! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! What a Great Job Kmise did with this UKE! So many details in the wood fretboard inlays of the star fish and little whale and also the black and white and wood binding/boarders. It's just so beautiful in Person. The finish, wood pattern, inlays, and open headstock on this instrument is very unique and really makes it look like a higher end instrument. I ordered this on 1/17/2021 and it arrived 1/20/21. This was very well packaged from amazon, a box within a box and also boxed and wraped nicely from the manufacturer. It came with every thing listed, a complete package. The gig bag is pretty standard on these package deals, it's not the worst but it's just ok...not a lot of padding and this ukulele barely fits into this small soprano bag. It comes with Aquila branded strings on it, which are great! The extra set of strings are a no name brand and package says they are black nylon stings. It also comes with strap buttons already installed and a decent strap. If your interested in the capo you may want to look for another one that is better quality, the one included is made completely of plastic, so I'm not sure how well it will work or hold up. It also includes a tuner that is working great for me and a few other random accessories that you see listed. Strait out of the box this was very easy to tune up and as with all new ukuleles it took some time to hold tune but by the 2nd day of playing it started holding tune very well. It has a really nice sound, Loud, Warm and Punchy and it rings out very well. The action was set nice and low and made it very easy to make clear notes and chords. I found some of the fret wires to be sharp, but that might be attributed to my very low humidity this time of the year in my area. I simply took a nail file and sanded them slightly to make them smooth again. I also noticed the fret board looked a bit dry(also likely due to humidity) so I will need to oil that when I change the strings. This ukulele is true to the description as listed, but I think it is much more beautiful and unique then I expected it would be for the price paid. This is my new little soprano friend and I expect to picking this one up daily!

This is a perfectly made, rich-sounding instrument that is at least as beautiful as the pictures show. It is solid wood! (I looked inside with a mirror) The tuners are smooth and easy, and right away it stays in tune (even with new strings), and it's warm tone will surely deepen with years of playing. It plays extremely well and I am so impressed! And that it comes with everything you need is amazing... The only downside is that it is made in the Shenzhen province of China, which is a problematic area for human rights. I want to believe that the workers at the Miaoyin Trading Co. are treated well and lucky to be making such wonderful things (instead of the reported slave drudge of the clothing and electronics manufacturers), but I have no way of knowing this, so there is a slight cast over my lovely new friend.

I just got this today and it is the fourth ukulele in our home. This is our first tenor and everyone is now wanting to play it. The appearance was everything I could have asked for, smooth and pretty, we like the details like the bindings and the little whale on the fretboard. The frets are nice and smooth, with no sharp edges on mine. The tone is really great for an inexpensive laminate instrument. It does not have the sustain of our one solid wood but this was a third the price of that one. I will get many hours of joy playing this instrument in the future. It is going out of tune fast but that is to be expected with new strings. I can say from experience that they will stretch and settle down in a few days. Overall a great value with the gig bag, tuner, extra strings, etc. I am super pleased with my new instrument. After a month I am still enjoying playing this ukulele. It takes maybe 20 seconds to tune each time I pick it up and holds tune for as long as my fingers will handle. I do notice I have to be more precise with my fingering on this one than our other ukuleles. I may look into lowering the strings a bit to make it easier to play but it is really a nice sounding instrumentand looks really nice. I am still very happy with my purchase.

This Kimise Tenor Ukelele is an unbelievable instrument for the money. The beautiful pale golden Okoume wood with nice streaks of darker brown make this a stunner to look at, but more important is the sound. I have several ukuleles in various price ranges, and this one is near the top of the list. The rich warm sound this ukulele produces makes one wonder how Kimise can keep the price so reasonable. You definitely get a lot of uke for the money. Plus the accessories are an added bonus. If I had to fault this instrument it would be the slight roughness of the fret bars (hence the 4 stars). Not a huge problem, but nevertheless, they could use a bit more sanding. I think any level of player would be happy with this instrument. Highly recommend.

Great ukulele for beginners! I’ve had it for a while now, and the more you break it in, the nicer the sound. I love the little details on it as well! I definitely recommend buying!! It comes with everything you need as well.

This has been a fun hobby instrument. I think it's the perfect beginner uke. I liked that it came with a tuner, but I use an app more often

First off, you get what you pay for. Having said that let me list off what i think of it and why I gave it five stars. The Uke is of better quality than I was expecting. No dings or flaws that I can find so far. Sound quality is also above what I thought it would be. It is not going to sound like a high end Uke but again for the money I am happy with it. the strings are decent and remember they will be loose when you get the Uke and will need to be tuned... and tuned again till they stretch and hold the note.. Just to let you all know I am a beginer at playing a Uke so My knowlege of how things should be is limited. Now for the things that came with it. The strap is very basic but functonal, seems that it would be better for a kid than an adult. The tuner is basic but is easier to read and use than my Snark so far. The Capo is nice but it will not fit a guitar I think but perfect for a Uke. I have never used a rhythm shaker but this one seems okay. The picks and cleaning cloth are standard. I found it funny that most of the odds and ends were all pink lol. I almost forgot about the strings. I know nothing about strings yet so no clue if they are good or not. Like I said above for the money this is a great buy. This a basic nice Ukelele, good for kids and adults starting out,

ETA: I have since put a low G on my soprano and it’s fabulous sounding. So nice, in fact that I also purchased a baritone. I bought this to compare to my Luna mahogany soprano ukulele, which retails for $99. For $59, I think this one blows the Luna ukulele out of the water. I would absolutely recommend it, although I should add that I’m a new ukulele player and such have not played anything more expensive than a Romero Creations ST Concert ukulele, which cost me $149 (the starter pack.) This ukulele has a lovely tone and came with everything to get you started, including a soft-sided case and lots of extras. I have uploaded a video so you can hear my newbie playing. If you’re considering purchasing this ukulele, I’d say go for it, because it’s lovely and sounds great.

This is worth it. I love it. Love the feel, the design, the pegs and all. Bargain

This is a very pretty Ukulele, light to hold and has been staying in tune really well from the first week. It has a really nice sound, I did not expect it to be this melodic. I think this may end up one of my favorites.

This ukulele is super cute and well made. It has a clean, clear sound. Great value for the price! Comes with everything you need to start your ukulele journey. Great for beginners and intermediate. I love that it has strap buttons already installed and comes with a strap. Plus the tuner is a nice add-on. It’s small size makes it easy to bring with. The carrying bag is of really good quality as well. Very impressive for the price. This is my second Kmise ukulele and I’m not disappointed.
