Good chain saw
It's battery but it's really strong cuts very well and the battery lasts 40mins early and 30mins of cutting with this is a good effort and a good days workRecommended

Your questions answered.
Having read a lot of reviews before purchase, I can confirm the following:WHAT'S CHAIN OIL? Oil needed to keep the blade from jamming. It IS included - a small bottle, approx. 120ml. Odd that the product description says otherwise, so maybe it's a recent addition. The unboxing video below also mentions that it comes included & shows how to use it.ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS ANY GOOD - Well they are in good English, but start from the incorrect premise that the chain comes ready-fitted, which it doesn't, and that really *does* need explaining. However, you'll find a proper review from Hyundai themselves that is really easy to follow and covers everything you need. Just search for "Unboxing and Assembling Your Hyundai Cordless Pole Saw".WHAT CAN IT CUT - I've used this on branches up to about 4" (100mm) wide and it worked fine and the specs say it will cut up to 170mm. However note that chain saws "rip" through the wood so it can leave an untidy stump (mostly on green wood or very small branches, which can leap about as you try to apply the saw). I suspect all chain saws would do this.DOES THE BATTERY LAST? - Well, I've cut 10 or 12 decent-sized tree branches so far, then used it to cut those branches down into manageable chunks, and the battery indicator still shows 3 out of 4 LEDS lit, so I'd say it will last me a while.HOW HIGH CAN I GO? - As high as your shoulder height plus another 2m or so.IS IT HEAVY? Depends how strong you are, but I'd say most people will be able to handle it.ANY PROBLEMS? - Nothing major, but as follows:- The chain oil reservoir window is almost too opaque to see how much chain oil is left, though thankfullyyou can see that by removing the filler cap.- Like any chainsaw, the blade can sometimes get stuck in the cut you are making. And when that's 2-3m ABOVE you, it can take a little work to get it free.- You probably need to watch a 10 minute video to work out how to set it up ;-)(but as a first time chainsaw user, I'm very glad I did).SUMMARY - Does the job. I'm happy with my purchase.

Quality is fantastic
The media could not be loaded. Ive not used it yet but will be doing. Im just reading up on it. Ill update once ive used it........ Its easy to use. The chain blunts quickly on thicker branches.its worth the money. Still happy with my purchase ☺️

Better than expected
Early days but even goes through relatively thick branches. Very easy to set up and use.It can feel slightly heavy for extended use when the pole is fully extended, but that's just basic physics.Paid for itself not requiring a tree surgeon

Useful but not the real deal!
Handy for the occasional branch trim. However not recommended for a major job.Easy to put together and convenient to use being free of complexadjustments. However, vibration is an issue on less rigid branches and doesn't always leave clean cut. Get a 5 metre pole saw instead. It will do a better job if the task is something other than an odd branch!

Bad
Don't waste your money the one I purchased stopped working on only the third time I used it and I messaged customer service who did not even bother replying

Works well, but chain grip does slip frequently
Managed to do a good amount of work with this, and overall pleased with it. First time I've bought a similar device, so don't have any other models to compare to. Battery life seems decent, and the included charger is good quality. Adjustment of the handle length and angle are straightforward. I've found that the hold on the chain loosens off quite frequently, resulting in the chain needing to be remounted and retightened (no matter how hard you tighten it). The process is easy enough, but I've had to do it more than 20 times shortening down a quite overgrown Leylandii hedge. Perhaps just using it for heavier purpose than intended. It will have absolutely no problem getting rid of the odd branch etc.
