It attaches easily with the provided screws and anchors (if needed).It easily holds my 50 foot stainless steel hose (see photo) with room to spare. While they list 150 feet capacity in terms of length of hose this will hold, it also says it will support up to 70 pounds. My 50 foot hose is maybe 10 pounds, so I think this could easily hold 200 feet of normal hose.This can, of course, be used to hold more than just garden hoses. So far so good. Installed two of these in different places on my home. Installation was straightforward. They seem sturdy and hold the hoses in place very well. Very please with the price and the way they are working so far (installed for 2 weeks now).

I had been looking for a way to keep my hose away from the ground and low levels, because my dogs seem to love to chew up every garden hose I have ever purchased. This worked perfect. It is very heavy duty and simple to install with the three screws it comes with. It is holding a 100ft garden hose with no problem.
