Do have to remove the carcass?

This trap can be used with any poison but if the rat dies near this box, just dispose of it as safely as possible. This is a painless way to dispose of rats and mice.

Does this work with Roof Rats?

Yes,Opening is large enough for large rodents

How often do you have to replace the bait?

Depends on whether you actually have rats or just suspect them. Usually you can see some of the yellow residue that indicates activity... in our case it was about a week after setting up. If you only have 1 or 2 rats, that may be it and a long while before refill.

Can I do this myself with gloves?

Hi, I routinely clean and fill the bait stations with the block style baits. I where nitrile gloves and keep very close control over any residue left in the station. It is very important that you remove all the old bait (usually it's just a few seed and rodent feces). You can do it.
