Very good bike - PROS and CONS list to help you decide
After a lot of research I decided to purchase the Niceday Recumbent Exercise Bike. First impressions: PROS: - the fit and finish were very good. Easy to put together - everything fit and instructions were the best I have seen in a while - assembly took about 45 minutes - instructions kept me from making any mistakes - bike packing was exceptional. Note to remove cardboard FIRST then you can remove certain parts easily from styrofoam. - the bike is really really very quiet and smooth - the bike is very stable. We have it in a room with carpet and the bike is stable - it moves very little and riders feel secure - the seat is easy to adjust to accommodate multiple riders - My wife is 5’2” and I am 6’0” and we are both very comfortable riding - foot pedals/ foot placement and foot straps are comfortable- easy in / easy out. Works well for me and my wife without making individual adjustments - The resistance is easy to change with a click while pedaling - easy to follow along with fitness videos when they ask you to change resistance - the resistance is good enough for beginners or for moderate exercise - CONS: - the LCD display is dark - hard to read unless room is well lit. Kinda don’t use the display much because of this. - Can’t see where you can see RPM rate. Some fitness vids state to follow along at a certain Revs per minute - have to do calculations from MPH - The seat and back rest is Ok. Not truly a con but nothing exceptional here. - the resistance tops out at a easier moderate. No Olympic training here. You need to plan to go longer and not harder with this equipment. If you want a high intensity bike for advanced - look elsewhere. - minor but not easy to see markings when adjusting seat for diff riders. Needed to stick some labels to make seat adjustments easier I would buy this bike again - and would consider other products from this company (Niceday) in the future.

Love this bike. I actually look forward to riding it.
I have no complaints about this bike. I had a hip replacement and my surgeon sent over a recumbent bike for pt.i have a regular stationary bike which hurt my lower back so I tried to avoid it. After using the one sent by the surgeon I decided to buy one. It rides smooth, noiseless, comfortable seat, one person wasn’t happy with not being able to see the mileage, time, etc too good. I bought a 2.00 light to clip on and it works fine. I can read a book if I care to. This is the first workout apparatus I actually enjoy using. My elliptical and old stationary bike are now sadly in the corner. I’ve been working out for years. I also run. This bike is honestly the best. The price is good too.

Seat is a little uncomfortable but overall a good bike at this price point
I bought this bike as a replacement for one that I purchased that had a defective crank. It was moderately difficult to assemble. The instructions were mostly clear, though a couple of steps could have used more information. In spite of some challenges, I was able to assemble it without assistance and everything appears to be working correctly. There was a small area of damage on a piece of plastic, but I'm, not sure if that was there before or happened during assembly. It doesn't affect the function either way. It pedals smoothly, though I find sometimes my shoes brush the plastic housing over the wheel. Riders with large feet may find the bike challenging to use. The display is basic, but serves it's purpose. The seat is not the most comfortable thing I've ever sat on, but isn't horrible. I'm considering buying a cushion to make it more comfortable. I did have some difficulty adjusting the seat position. I couldn't get it to slide back while sitting on it. I had to get off the bike and push with both hands to get it to move. Fortunately, I'm the only person who uses it, so now that it's set, I shouldn't have to do it again. I tried out the kinomap and zwift apps that the bike can connect to, but didn't think either was worth the subscription price. However, the connectivity appeared to work as it is supposed to during the brief time I tried it out. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the bike. It feels sturdy and it does what I need for it to do.

Have a Nice Day!
This is the best deal in recumbent exercise bikes. There were so many details I was concerned about. I have it on thick-padded carpet, so I had to put a board under the sweat pad. The pulse meter's measurements are erratic. Otherwise, it is a solid machine that is very workable. I'm lightweight, but I find the butt pad on the seat very comfortable. The side handles are very firm with downward force. The clearance under the machine runs through the whole length. The rear casters let you adjust the height slightly for uneven floors. At six feet, I was worried about leg length, but I bet this could service people a little taller even - maybe 6'1" or 6'2". The chair back squeaks in one particular position, but then I just don't sit that way. It is a plug in machine, so not good for cabins. I don't find myself rocking or the machine rocking, but I'm only 155 lbs so I'm not the best stress test. The actual circle you move your feet in is about 13 inches - so it's pretty good, but if you want to target all your muscles then you'll have to adjust your seat position; I think that's pretty typical. I love working from home while cycling on this Nice bike. It really is everything I needed and none of the fluff. I'm attaching a video so you can visualize my review, too. Have a Nice Day! :-D

Excellent Residential Recumbent Bike For The Price!
Very sturdy, approximately 90lbs, well thought out and built recumbent bike for the price. It was packaged extremely well and arrived intact. I purchased the bike for my 92-year old mother who has become sedentary and needs a convenient form of exercise. Having handles with the heart rate monitoring capability by the sides of the seat, that flip up out of the way to sit down, was good thinking and convenient. Also having stationary handles on either side of the display monitor for balance, getting in and out, and to assist with sitting down and getting up was also helpful for my mother. I was purposely looking for a bike that had a very low bar connecting the seat area to the flywheel to minimize the trip hazard for my mother that did not require her to lift her leg super high to get in and sit down. Allow 60-90 minutes to put it together. The instructions were impeccable. Really impressive and it would be very difficult to mess up assembling it. All the tools to construct it were supplied in the box along with the necessary screws, nuts and bolts. The manufacturer even included a few extra screws just in case. The settings go from a very low resistance level, level 1, which is appropriate for my mother to very high resistance. The transition from between resistance levels is smooth and incremental and the bike is silent. My only criticism is the display monitor. It needs to provide detail of what is being shown on the display (e.g., rpm, heart rate, minutes, etc.) and maybe an on/off power button. AAA batteries, supplied by the manufacturer in the box, power the display.

Excellent product
I assembled this unit yesterday and got my first 30 minute workout on it this morning. Here are my impressions: Assembly directions are detailed and very accurate. The only issues I had was with bracket for holding the seat unit (item #20) in place. I spent a good bit of time searching through all of the parts thinking either I had misplaced it or it was not included, only to find it bolted in place to the unit. Also had the same issues with the screws to hold the digital screen, already in the back of that piece. As one reviewer has pointed out, getting the two bolts that hold the seat unit in place is a bit of a PITA. I strongly recommend lying down next to the unit to get a full view of the work area. Don't try to do it blindly by feel. Also as noted elsewhere, the bracket attached with two bolts to the front of the unit is meant to serve as a handle to get the unit in place. It is then removed and not used in the actual assembly. They also provide a good bit of extra fastener hardware so you will have a bit of a pile of stuff left over when completed. My first workout was very positive. I do a lot of road biking and have spent a lot of time in the off season on trainers and stationary bikes. Full disclosure, this unit is for my wife, but I expect to make regular use of it as well. This is my first experience with a recumbent. I found it to be very solid, smooth, and quiet. The tension range seems more than adequate for a good workout. I'm 5'11"/ 150 lbs. Being in a recumbent position will definitely take some getting used to but I expect it may offer less wear and tear on my aging hips. Areas for improvement: the floppy handles by the seat are a little weird. I guess it may be useful to get them out of the way... I wish the digital readout included cadence. I did connect with Kimomap without any issues. That seems to work pretty well but with a small delay in getting data from the bike to the kinomap display. So when you pick up the cadence, you won't see it reflected on the kinomap disply for 10 seconds or so. Kinomap does show cadence and watts. You get 2 weeks free then it is $12 per month. The manual shows that it can also connect with Zwift. The tray for holding an iPad, etc. would benefit from a wider rim at the bottom. Also be aware that this unit is heavy. It is maneuverable but takes some effort to get the back end up to move it around. Not a complaint, just a fact. All in all, highly recommended. P.S. After using this a few times, I can agree with another reviewer that mentioned how stiff the seat is. I definitely recommend an additional seat cushion. Keep in mind that the on a recumbent, your butt is parked on the seat and carrying most of your weight 100% of the time. There is no getting out of the saddle to give your butt a break as there is on a conventional bike.

FTMS Bluetooth support at this price? Yes please! App and VR friendly.
This is a preliminary review based on shipping, building, first use, and Bluetooth connection (this is the main reason I'm writing the review). First, it shipped faster than expected, getting here a day early, which was very nice. The box was in good condition, nothing I would call out of the ordinary for a big, heavy box being shipped. Second, building it was...mostly stress-free. I think all but 1 part would have been easy if I had someone else building it with me, but I did it solo. There was one part towards the end that took a lot to get right, but it was just the plastic cover part, so it really isn't even important for the bike to function. I was immediately impressed with the build quality, which felt very heavy-duty. All in all, took me about an hour and a half to assemble solo, and probably would have been closer to an hour if I hadn't gotten distracted. Which brings me to the next. I am a big guy. I weigh over 350lbs, and this thing feels good when I sit on it. The seat is comfortable, the back is sturdy, and the general construction is really high quality. For $380, this bike exceeded my expectations by a LARGE margin. Speaking of blown-away expectations, this BUDGET bike comes with full FTMS Bluetooth support! What does that mean? Well, I'm not sure exactly, but it's the kind of support you need to sync your bike with workout apps. I had no idea this was built in (it doesn't say it anywhere in the listing or the website), and I actually bought a separate cadence sensor, that I can now return. The biggest value in this for me is I can pair this with my Pixel Watch and my Meta Quest 3 and use fitness apps such as VZFit and HOLOFIT. Biking in space? Yes please! But there are a few minor negatives. I already mentioned the plastic piece that covers part of the bike. It sucks. It's the only piece on the bike that feels like an afterthought. It's thinner plastic and the screws refused to work with it. But again, this is purely aesthetic. The heart rate bar and overall functionality of the heart rate sensor are subpar. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have, but it's cheap and not very well thought out for a bigger guy like me. But the truth is, I didn't expect anything else. I've never seen a budget workout machine that did it well. It also has trouble sending this data over Bluetooth, so watch out for that. Neither of these things take away from the 5* rating at this price. If I paid $500, I probably wouldn't be so satisfied, but for the price, I truly believe this bike has no equals. It's compact, compatible with so many apps (via BT), and FEELS good, what more can you ask? I will update this review in 6 months IF I have anything to add, but honestly? I don't think my review will change.

Monitor instructions are incomprehensible.
Bike is fine but I have not been able to get any part of the monitor to work correctly. The instructions are in English but are otherwise completely incomprehensible and of zero help. So, a 5 if you only want to ride and a zero if you want any information about your ride.

Good value.
I'm very pleased. Assembly not difficult. All tools included. Easy instructions. Overall it's worth the money. For a senior it is heavy and help needed to move box to another floor. Also display does not have a back light so a nearby light is needed, That's the only negative. I would recommend it for seniors.

Happy, Happy, Happy!
I received this Friday June 19, and finished the assembly the next day after returning from the dump with the substantial packing that this comes with. I have had this Niceday RC88 for over 7 weeks now and have at least 30 hours or 450 miles on it. The controls do not accumulate totals; it just gives the dailies. This machine has exceeded expectations. It is comfortable, smooth, quiet, and gives me the workout I want. My only complaint is of my own doing. When I tossed the packing material, the upright covers went with them. It doesn’t affect its operation, just the looks.

Works but not the way it should. Customer service was great.
It went together easily. Although it’s described as a two-person job, I probably could have assembled it myself. I wasn’t able to switch the measurements to metric, even though it seemed like there should be an option. There are holes in the back but no buttons and you just see the circuit board behind through them. The instructions mention using an app, but the app is from a different company and requires a paid subscription. Customer service was very helpful and we came to a satisfactory resolution.

Very impressed. Good quality.
Has me back working out 3 Xs a week. Couldn’t use my old bike with my old back & sore tailbone. Get a mat for underneath it. Very comfortable seat for my sore tailbone I’ve damaged. Good tablet shelf. No noise whilst using it👍🏽 I Watch outdoor Bike journeys on YouTube on tablet whilst riding it. Comfortable. Don’t have to ride out in all the wildfire smoke or go to a gym with youngsters. Keeping me limber and moving at 65.
