What a difference it made to upgrade to this product! It works wonderfully. I've also just started using a Kolinsky brush, too. Between the better brush, and this monomer, I'm having a much easier time sculpting the acrylic in place prior to hardening. It takes a few minutes to harden, using this monomer. That affords plenty of time to work with your product, and move it around. I'm really happy with this. If needed I'll definitely order this again. It's worth every penny. I was using another monomer, which created purplish-looking nails. This has a pretty strong odor, but it comes with the territory. Once I had cracked a window for about 30 minutes, the smell dissipated.

The Mia Secret Liquid Monomer never disappoints. The consistency is smooth, easy to work with, and gives you plenty of time to shape the acrylic without it drying too fast. It pairs perfectly with most acrylic powders and leaves a strong, durable finish that doesn’t lift. There’s a little smell like any monomer, but the performance makes it worth it. Great for practicing, great for clients, and great for building confidence if you’re learning acrylics. A solid must-have in any nail kit.

I originally had ordered a low odor one, but I had trouble with that drying and causing issues when I went to file. I switched to this one which is the same brand of powder that I use. I use an air purifier on the table with me, and I do not have issues with the smell. I also make sure to take any of the leftovers that are soaked in a paper towel to the trash outside. This liquid works well, it dries in the perfect amount of time, allowing to shape the nail without it running along the sides. I take my brush and I get as much liquid off as I can, though prior to getting the bead.
