Review: They may not fly, but they fly! - These flies are very active. The mantis' really like them, but they jump far and fast, so they are hard to catch and contain. I put them in the freezer for about 3 minutes before I give them to the mantis'. That works pretty well. Also, there is a ton of larva in the base material, so I fed some of those to a sick mantis. That worked pretty well until he could eat the flies again. SECOND BATCH: Excellent condition, nice and fat flies for my growing mantis.
Review: Not worth it - All flies arrived dead complete waste of money.

These flies are very active. The mantis' really like them, but they jump far and fast, so they are hard to catch and contain. I put them in the freezer for about 3 minutes before I give them to the mantis'. That works pretty well. Also, there is a ton of larva in the base material, so I fed some of those to a sick mantis.
