Yes you can see but it’s like looking through a kaleidoscope, so you see several images of one thing. If you were standing in front of a person you can see them, but your depth perception is a little off. If lighting is bright like out doors you can see better in them but if it’s dim or dark lighting it’s much harder to see. I used my steampunk glasses more as a prop in photo shoots, where the model is standing still and not walking around. I have worn them at events but on the top of my head, never putting them over my eyes, I think I might get motion sickness if I did that. That’s due to the kaleidoscope affect that you see when looking through them.
