Just a simple perfect tool. Exactly what is needed to ensure that we can continue to charge and use traditional iPods on any USB (out standard choice for dance school music library &playlists, without need for internet, cloud storage, online accounts). Thank you Amazon LOL

I have an old iPad that is still usable for certain work tasks, but the charging cable was shot. I have several other iDevices that use the lightning connector. I saw this adapter and decided to give it a try. Works great with one caveat… if it doesn’t start charging, flip the position of lightning connector. For some reason, it will not charge my old iPad with both sides of the lightning connector. As soon as a removed it, turned it over, and reinserted it, it worked fine.

Seems to be cheap inside, hard to tell, but it is NOT durable or reliable. Return window closed, so another $10 down the drain on cheaply made stuff. Based on other reviews and my experience I would not recommend... will look to see if I can find something better. Very dissapointed.

This adapter seemed to work for charging, although it is very picky on which cord it likes. But I was completely unable to sync my ipod to my computer. Got a dedicated 30 pin cord and it fixed the issue.
