For people considering giving this as a gift Marcy’s Jornal is an incredible companion to Disney’s Amphibia. First the objective facts This Jornal covers all 3 seasons of the show and is intended to be used to fill in blank information after enjoying the show. It is an in universe Jornal much like Gravity falls Journal 3 which I have compared in pictures of comparing the 2. It is noticeably smaller and shorter 100 pages less than Jornal 3. It follows all 3 seasons of the Disney channel show. It both gives entirely new information and lore to the TV series along with revealing both Anne and Marcy’s thoughts. If the person you are purchasing this for is an Amphibia fan they will love it. For fans of the show This is exactly what we wanted a companion to Amphibia written by the creator that provides more lore and information about the show much like gravity falls Journal 3. It follows the show quite nicely. The first 3rd focuses what Marcy was doing during season 1 before her introduction . The middle of the book explains Marcy’s inner thoughts about season 2 and the 3rd part shifts focus from herself to Anne. Annes sections are noticeably different with it really feeling as though the book has 2 authors much like jornal 3. The Jornal is a great companion to Amphibia and I would highly recommend it. It feels as though it’s a real Journal written by Marcy. It has a strong sense of her personality running in it. It’s 100 pages shorter than the Jornal 3 but the Jornal still packs alot into itself. I don’t regret my purchase and hopefully the Jornal leads to more projects in this universe

Before anything PLEASE NOTE: If this is your first encounter with anything Amphibia related, I recommend against reading this book before watching the series, as this book contains major spoilers for the show. That said, this book is an excellent side story of the events of Amphibia from the perspective of Marcy (an important side character in the main series), and it is written with the same sense of whimsy, adventure, and the same love and care as the main series. The quality of the actual book is also very high, with a plethora of high-resolution images and easily readable text on quality paper, solidly bound together. Highly recommended.

This book is wonderful and it's nice that the creator made this book with a little teaser at the end. I've read the whole thing and it's funny and cute at the same time. I just wish they'd continue this story in animation. It's sad that they haven't yet but maybe one day....

Marcy's journal rehashed a lot of material but filtered it through the lense of her perspective, representing Amphibia's most innocent yet likewise most selfish visitor from Earth. Meanwhile, much new information was also offered. However, I found the use of the word "trebuchet" offputting in her story about defeating the giant snake--what is drawn is a simple catapult. A trebuchet is a type of catapult that uses a counterweight to launch its projectile, whereas the catapult drawn in Marcy's notes is of the simpler variety that launches by the tension stored in its bent arm. Marcy would surely have known the difference, and I have no doubt that she would have actually chosen the more powerful trebuchet. A small error, perhaps, but glaring.

I love this book so much, Amphibia is a wonderful story and this book no doubt beautifully portrays Marcy's character on what wasn't shown on screen. Love the small details like the tear-stains and burned marks, it's really nicely made

This book arrived in great condition, no damage at all. On the other hand it took quite awhile for it to arrive but that is understandable as I live in Europe and I preordered it. Other than that, everything about it was great. Now to the book. This book is amazing. You get introduced to some new characters that are not in the show and get to understand the main characters much better. I love the way it applies to the storyline and that another character writes in it after some time. The art is probably my favorite thing about Marcy’s Journal. It’s so aesthetically pleasing and pretty. I definitely recommend buying this book from here, especially if you’re like amphibia as much as I do. It is worth it.
