Disston 30140 4 in 1 Portable Workbench, No Size, Orange

Excellent! I use this as a portable armorer's table. It's the perfect width and length to support a rifle vise/stand, and is the exactly length of a standard rifle "gun mat". The sides are just short enough to get a small/medium swiveling table vise attached to, as well as a clip-lamp. The power supply unit works great to power a small table-clip architect's lamp, corded dremel, or whatever else you might need powered for your gunsmithing. The table is *very* sturdy and withstands quite a lot of force without moving around. While I did not purchase the table for it's ability to act as a creeper, I did test this function and was pleasantly surprised to find out that the wheels/bearings are quite smooth. Despite the table's relatively heavy weight (compared to an actual creeper), it moves smoothly and quite easily over the ground (even tested it on carpet!). The one and only concern I have regarding this unit is the wood side of the table top. It seems completely unprotected with no type of finish on it. This makes me worry that it would be especially vulnerable to fluids. I may circumvent this potential flaw with some clear contact paper (as to not cover the useful rulers and protractor that are printed on it) or even roll a clear coat of lacquer over it.

I love this table. I have a home office, but no garage or work area. I do a lot of modification work with belt sanders, buffing wheels and various chemicals. I needed a work area that could spring up and go away. This fit the bill perfectly. It is very sturdy, you can easily get on top of it and jump up and down if you wanted, and I’m 220 lbs. I love that you can switch the table top from orange plastic to the Wood/press board side. It’s a great size to have room to work ok, but not too large. The built in power strip has been way more useful than I expected. I think this is definitely worth the money. I use it non stop. And whenever I need it to go away, it folds up and rolls under a couch. I was on the fence for a while between this and a few other models. I went back and forth for over a month. I am so happy I chose this one. If you just need a rock solid work station I say this will not disappoint.

The table was fine. I'm not too partial to the pushbuttons that hold and release the legs, good way to get fingertips pinched. Otherwise it was fine; VERY nice for the price. But... The box had clearly been opened. There was dust and dirt on the styrofoam end pieces between the table and the box, the side and the end were retaped by Amazon (Amazon Prime tape on the side) and one end had about a half roll of tape on it, also the power supply cord was missing. I could not tell whether it had been used, so the table itself was in good shape other than the power cord gone. You'd think Amazon would put someone with an IQ higher than 70 in charge of covering up their returns so they could be resold without protest. I doubt it is heavy enough to use commercially, but it is not sold for that purpose. For most homeowners it will do a good job for a long time. If you get lucky and get one in a new unsealed box, you will like it.

Extremely pleased with this product. Exactly what is described in marketing materials and is very functional and versatile. Great engineering and strong materials. The bending joints and leg locking buttons were a bit fussy until I put a few drops of oil on all of them. That made a lot of difference and everything unfolds, locks securely, and unsnaps for storage on first try every time. Manufacturer may want to consider lubricating mechanisms as last step in process before selling these. Not everyone knows the value of preventative maintenance these days. Going to figure out a way to add some clamps so it will do everything I need from a workbench.

Difficult to clamp items to table when using as a portable work bench

I'm not a construction guy but thought it would be great to have a sturdy, portable table on the back patio to handle tasks like sawing, drilling, set-up's, also for setting up SCUBA gear on site in the parking lot at the beach. This table fits the bill! As well it folds down 3 inches wide and is not to heavy. The carrying handle is great too. Love it!

I discovered this table in an article in Fine Homebuilding. I've been able to use it a few times and love the stability and functionality. It stows away easily and is equally simple to set up. It is great to have outlets built into the frame.

Had a very terrible experience buying this table used. Looked like whoever returned it had it sitting outside and let it rust. Also one part of the frame was bent not allowing one of the legs to fully open. All the latches for the table top were missing and zip ties were installed in their place. One of the worst experiences buying at warehouse deals.

Having tried many other products out there purchased (and made), this one does it all. No need to look any further.

This work bench is very strong, sturdy and incredibly versatile. I love it.
