Scribbler 3D Pen V3 New Awesome Design Model Printing Drawing 3D Pen with LED Screen Different Colors! (Blue Metallic)

My Grandson, who I bought this thing for. Hasn't said one word either way about it.

This is our first experience with a 3D pen, so I have no reference, but so far it's doing okay. We (my husband and I) have to load the new colors and keep a close eye on when it's getting to the end of a string of filament because it gets complicated. The gear for feeding the filament into the pen is at the top, so if you let the end go through the driving gear, you have to really work with it to get it back out. We've already had to disassemble ours 2 or 3 times. One time the filament loaded incorrectly (one of the kids did it) and it fed into the body of the pen. Fortunately it didn't break anything. We were able to take it apart, pull all of the excess out, and put it back together. We've had a LOT of fun (all of us) making stuff with this pen, however. It was a gift to my husband for his birthday, so our budget was limited, and we're pretty happy with what we got for the money.

Love this pen, except the speed control broke and is stuck at 1. I usually work at speed 4. I only had this a week. I was very careful to stop, remove the filament every 20-30 minutes like the instructions say. I never had a jam. Then today I went about an hour and suddenly it was going at speed 1 and the button doesn’t work. I opened to see if it was just a loose wire, but whatever wires were there before there is no trace now. I voided the warranty by using non-brand filiment, so I can’t send it back. Speed 1 is achingly slow. I want another pen because it is so awesome, but all the reviews are about the same as far as jamming and quality. Not sure what I’m going to do. Very frustrating considering how expensive this pen is.

The pen has arrived on the expected day! i have been looking for a 3D doodle pen as it is a great help for my design course. The packaging of the pen is wrapped up perfectly and have avoid it from any damages effectively. The box looks nice. In the box, it has come up with a power adapter, 1 x 10 feet pen materials, and also the instruction booklet. It is very simple to set up. No worries if you don't, the instruction is very clear.The design of it is quite stylish. The whole pen is mainly made up of high quality plastic. To my surprise, its weight is a lot lighter than what I expected!! Another good thing about the pen is there is a LED display to show you the temperature and allow you to monitor the melting point. Then 2 side buttons are there to help you to control how fast the plastic coming out.This makes it more handy to use.Designing models is very easy, however, this pen enhances me to roughly generate my ideas out. I found it a bit hard to use it at the beginning as this is totally. new experience for me with 3D pen. It allows user to create mini sculpture in few minutes and dry in seconds! But note that, unlike 3D printers, it can't create stuffs that are really fine and with great details.Lastly I would highly recommend this product as it is affordable. It will let you have a new experience on drawing and it's fun as well.

Maybe this pen works great, but I can't tell, because the instructions are incomprehensible. I got this as a present for Father's Day, and when it opened it the product looked solid enough but the Chinese instructions were impossible to read and they didn't make sense with the buttons on the pen, leading us to wonder if we were using the correct temperature for the sticks, etc. The digital display is NOT user friendly. Eventually we got some stuff to come out of it, but I will always be wondering if it is working at the optimal settings...

After trying the Scribbler v2 and two other 3D pens, we liked this one the best!! Did have an issue with the plastic getting stuck in the tip and had to purchase a new tip. It would be nice to have had an extra included. Overall though, clogs less then the other three we tried. You really need to empty out the plastic whenever you stop using - even for 2 minutes - or they clog!!

I have been looking for a PERFECTLY perfect since July so I was very excited to try this one after reading the reviews. The quick start guide was good to get us on our way but I think it was a good decision to watch the videos on YouTube to understand the pen completely, I have used a few pens in past but they were just fine. It was a little tricky at first but after using it for 2-3 times, it was getting much fun. My 11 year old daughter has had the most practice and has made some cute creations. We are practicing for a bit and then plan to try the Eiffel Tower. If you like crafty or artsy things, I would definitely recommend this.

First one failed after 2 days. would not feed filament. Returned no problem and received replacement on time thanks to Amazon and good seller. Second unit failed after 3 days with error code 3 and would not heat. Definitely not worth $119.00. Also not the ultimate birthday present my daughter begged for. She is very disappointed, twice. Can not share personal opinion about the lack of value of the product or it's country of origin due to Amazon policy. I can not recommend the purchase of this product. It is an awesome waste of money.
