This is a very high quality tool. The weight is very good, and holds down bacon that likes to curl up. Which is horrible if you want a crunchy rind and fat that is rendered. This would be great on a bbq. It can absolutely handle the heat. The handle being wood never got hot. Easy to clean. The underside has no ridges and is completely flat, which I wanted. You can even use it for grilling sandwiches, burgers. It’s just so good. I know this tool will last longer than my grill I have! That reminds me I need a new grill…..

I love this press. Being stainless steel makes clean up easy, and I don’t have to worry that my dear wife washed the seasoning off it, like cast iron. It’s been used several times since we bought it and works great on the griddle we use in house (non-stick type) and on our outdoor cast iron griddle. Wife loves that’s it’s about half (or less) the weight of my cast iron presses and that she can put it in the dishwasher. The handle is well constructed and should last. I set it on the griddle to heat up as I’m heating the griddle, then hit it with a short blast of cooking spray, no sticking. We like center cut bacon, and this press will mostly cover 3 strips length wise. Using medium low heat (2 out 10) on gas stove, bacon cooks in just a few minutes without curling. I like the price too and the quality. I’m ordering a second one, so I can have 6 strips of bacon on the griddle at a time.

I love this bacon press. It is a heavy-duty stainless-steel bacon press, and it is excellent quality. I love that it is rectangle and not round. I have been using it on my outdoor grill to cook bacon. It is exceptional and so easy to clean up. I had 2 cast iron bacon presses but pitched them in the trash as soon as I got this one. They were hard to clean, and you had to be careful with them or they would rust. This one from Hulisen washes up so easy. It has been a life changer for someone that cooks a lot of bacon. Would recommend this vendor.
