Bought this to remove the spanner nut off my 2018 Whirlpool Cabrio HE top loader washing machine. My machine was supposed to use a TB123B but I couldn't find one so took a chance on this one and it worked perfectly. Well worth the money to avoid the headache of removing the nut without the wrench.

I'm reviewing the purchase of a spanner wrench made specifically for a whirlpool top loading washer with a wash plate, not a true olf fashioned agitator. The spanner nut under the plate need to be removed to get the gearbox out and this wrench is SO worth it. I beat the crap out of that nut with no joy. Once this wrench came, it spun off with just a few firm taps of a hammer. This wrench is built like a tank and will last forever. It's worth every penny. Get it before the work begins. By the way, Amazon asked me, "You could mention "value for money", "sheerness" and "warmth". This has great value for the money, but I can't recommend wearing it. The wrench isn't sheer or warm.

Probably a one-time use tool for me but allowed me to repair our 20-year old washer for <$100 instead of having to shop for a new washer. Definitely worth the money and required to complete certain inexpensive repairs. Fit perfect on the spanner nut for our Whirlpool washer model LSQ8243HQ0, just as another site said it would.

Tool does just what it was meant to do.
