I tried a lot of the home brews but this is by far my favorite! I have pretty dry and wavy hair (curly if it gets long enough) and this seems to be made for it. Natural shine, makes my hair incredibly soft, conditioned, not greasy, and enough hold to get through the day. Scent is great if you like peppermint. I would describe as fresh, herbal, peppermint that goes away after a little bit given my smell is more on the muted side. If you want something with more hold there are other products out there but you sacrifice the soft feeling in the hair.

I was REALLY excited for this to arrive so i could finally give my hair something it deserves. I love the packaging and the ingredients this has but when opening it, there were tiny hard white bead like things scattered throughout. I'm not sure if maybe it was old or just a bad jar. I used it about 4 times so far and to me it feels like it's still able to treat my hair.EDIT: The product was definitely a little old upon arriving BUT i gotta say the performance when putting it into towel dried hair it firmly holds your hair and smells great when i let it treat my hair overnight, whe using it as a pre styler it REALLY enhances the effects and holds your hair way better and keeps it soft and manageable, really adds thickness to my fine long hair and definitely plan on buying another but this time from a different seller.

Great hold - perfect for long/straight asian hair. HOWEVER (like others have commented) the scent is overpoweringly patchouli. 5/5 if it weren't for that smell...

I was looking for a new hair styling product and was researching lots of options. I was simply looking for a plant-based product with relatively clean ingredients. O'Douds Styling Treatment Hair Cream seemed to meet the criteria so I ordered it. I'm glad I made that decision - I'm very happy with the product! It's the perfect consistency for what I was looking for. The consistency is like a thick cream but not watery at all and not stiff like clay. Very slight lavender/peppermint scent but not very noticeable. Overall, great product and ingredients!

Works great on my medium length, wavy hair. It's a nice, medium flexible hold and the shine is medium as well. Just as described. Great ingredients list as well, which is a big plus. I see some negative comments on the fragrance and I do not agree with the patchouli scent reviews at all. It's scent is peppermint and light lavender. I even asked for a second opinion from my wife, and without her knowing the product, and she said peppermint scented. I much prefer this scent to some of the "fake cologne" scents I've had in other hair products. It's also easy to apply to damp hair and washes out easily as well.Overall, I'm very happy with the product, and am on my second buy. I plan to continue buying and using for as long as they are making this product.

This stuff works great, it a plant based hold cream, that smells great too

As a smell conosuir I can conclude that if you wear this in your hair in public people will find you annoying because you smell like an old man who just took a bath, otherwise the product works very nice and does everything it says it does.

I've gone through a plethora of different hair products the past few years and they just didn't seem to give the right hold I was searching for. Eventually, I stumbled upon O'Douds brand through one of The Pomp's youtube videos. I explored their hair product line, saw that the description of this particular pomade fit my needs, ordered it. -- One year later it's still my favorite. This pomade provides a perfect amount of hold for any relaxed style on 3-5 inch hair and is malleable enough for you to be able to finger comb your hair back in place throughout the day. As an added bonus, this is also a conditioning cream which softens your hair when applied.

It has a lovely natural looking hold and seems to condition my hair. The smell is pleasant and natural, like something from Aveda. It is not so overpowering that it interferes with a cologne.I have had unsolicited compliments about my hair when styled with It. It has a medium hold, rinses out well and is flexible to style with - use it on wet, dry or damp hair and either air dry or use a hair dryer for different effects.It is somewhere between a hair clay and a styling cream in terms of consistency and hold.I have tried many hair products from different brands including a lot of American Crew products and would consider this to be the best all round product that I know.I have ordered this twice now. It has replaced American Crew Forming Cream in my affections.Ps. My best results have been from using a small amount on wet hair, style it, then let it air dry. After it has air dried, I either leave it like that for a slightly wet look, or loosen it up by brushing or combing it through. This creates a looser, more natural-looking hold with memory.

Nimmt man wenig der Pomade fehlt ein dauerhafter Halt der Frisur. Nimmt man dann mehr werden die Haare klebrig. Ich habe eher kurze Haare.

Really easy to use and works well

It is very conditioning for the hair and does indeed leave a low-shine finish. The hold is a solid medium, but you can achieve a bit more when using a blow dryer.​Unfortunately, I personally found it a little heavy for my fine hair, but I think that is purely down to my hair type and the excellent conditioning properties of the cream.​It requires a light shampoo to remove, and your hair feels fantastic afterwards. If you have dry hair and want something to nourish it while providing a low-shine finish, this is great.For my fine hair, I get similar conditioning without the weight using Shear Revival Crystal Lake.

自分は短髪のバーバースタイルです。今までワックス、ジェル、時々ポマード（ドライ）を使って来ました。髪が太いストレートなので、ハードなものでないとセットが難しく、「がっちりセットしてきました！」感が強くなってしまうため、より自然にセットできるものがないか探していました。ヘアバームの印象は、そこまでセット力はないが髪には優しそうという感じでした（商品によってはそのまま手に塗れるようなので）。=======================================================こちらの商品はクリーム状で柔らかく延びも良いので、通常のヘアバームみたいに手でしばらく温めてから延ばして使う必要がなく、非常に使いやすかったです。セット力はワックスのハードほどではないものの、きちんと形を整えるには十分な印象です（キープするためにはスプレー等使う必要がありそうです）。ヘアバームはどちらかというとウェットな仕上がりになるものかと思いましたが、こちらはそうでも無いようで、髪がドライだとセットがしづらいかもしれません。香りについては、着ける時にはそのまま「ラベンダー+ミント」という感じですが、時間が経つにつれて「ラベンダー+若干その他」というような感じになりました（感じ方に個人差あり）。よくあるポマードのように「床屋」や「オジサン」のような強い香りではないので、仕事の日でも問題なく使えそうです。値段が高いのが残念ですが、今のところ気に入っているので今後問題なければ引き続き使う予定です。
