onlyfire Stainless Steel Square Fire Pit Flat Pan with Burner Ring Assembly, 36-Inch

I bought this in used but excellent condition. Like some other reviews, the packaging does seem to be insufficient as it arrived with one of the corners substantially bent upward. I was able to bend this back to almost unnoticeable condition. I expected something like this as I purchased it in used condition, so no big deal. As for the pan and burner, they are well made and the dimensions were spot on. We were converting a DIY wood firepit to propane and this fit perfectly and works perfectly. We also purchased the Onlyfire control box and an extra long (18 foot) propane line and both items fit and worked perfectly for our application. We are very happy with this purchase and now we can enjoy a nice relaxing fire with no fuss and no more smelling like smoke. The one thing I will say is that because this is such a large burner it does seem like we will be going through a good amount of propane, so be aware of this when choosing the size pan/burner combo for your project if you have that flexibility. We anticipated this, so not a problem for us.

I inherited a Blue Rhino Endless Summer GAD890SP fire table (Amazon # GAD860SP) with a rusted out fire bowl. Rather than try to replace the original plain steel bowl I decided to order the 18” Onlyfire stainless drop in pan. The opening on the fire table was just about perfect and I only needed to grind away a small amount of metal on the inside corner supports in order to get the pan to fit. I added a Stanbroil 159k BTU air mixer and a Starfire designs ½” gas valve to complete the conversion. The new set up works great and looks fabulous. The Onlyfire pan and burner ring are very well made and the fit and finish are first class. A bit expensive but the results are well worth it.

2 years in and it’s still kicking! No rust and no blemishes. We use it several times per month. Only downside is that once a year we have to drain the water out of the gas plumbing but that might be on us for not covering it during the rain?

Used this to replace the turkey fryer stove type element that came with a fire table purchased about a year ago on amazon. I salvaged the ignitor and controls and removed the old pan, made some cuts for this 18” pan and with it’s 1.25” flange it filled the 20” space perfectly. Bought a air mix valve from amazon and 2 buckets of fire glass from local Lowes. Had to reduce fittings down with a couple more pieces to fit ild small supply pipe. Works beautifully. Works, but flames are too small and on high the slightest wind can blow them out. Using natural gas hookup.

The first one delivered with a corner damaged (looked like a factory corner welding issue), but Amazon replaced it quickly. The new pan was straight and square and dimensioned as advertised. If it comes with preassembled fittings, make sure they are tight. This 24x24 in pan dropped right into a slightly oversize opening (1/4" on all sides) with no problems. All edges were flush with the surface without any weight from the glass (purchased separately). I plumbed mine for propane. make sure you buy the hoses, LP air mixer and fittings rated for the BTU's your pan can handle. My first set of hoses and fittings were too small for this unit. 24x24 unit goes through propane fairly fast. I emptied a 1/4 full 20lb tank in about 2 hours. Overall I would buy it again if I ever made another custom pit.

Really nice stainless steel fire pit. I bought the 36” pan. Nice flame and overall good build quality for the price. My one complaint is it only has a 1/2” inlet when it claims to be rated for 400 thousand plus btu but only at 0.5 psi. It’s pretty hard to find the fittings needed if using a turn valve to get over 300 thousand btu. Regardless it’s still really nice and very warm.

I didn't see natural gas fire pits available anyehere and had to build my own. I am glad to find this burner. It's stainless steel all over and looks very sturdy. I put it on the metal frame of a night stand, which fits well. I used a 1/2 to 3/8 inch valve that can be found at Amazon or Home Depot for about $15 to connect the burner with a NG hose. Then it's all set. Of course we also need some fire glass to beautify it. I was arguing with myself whether to get a cheapy wood burning fire table to hold it, but later gave up the idea as the table would take more room to store in winter, and would make the valve under the pit less easy to reach. (We could also use the valve outside the house.) I am happy with my fire pit now.

Nicely finished, seems well made and durable. I didn't realize how much we needed a fire table in our life. Super nice.

Worth every penny. I converted my former propane firepit and wasn't impressed. This burner/pan really is an improvement. I also bought the ignition/regulator from them and it works beautifully. All this for just over $200 Canadian, cheap for the results.

Very well made, higher grade stainless steel, Tig welded properly, I would recommend this fire table pan to anyone wanting quality. Impressive!
