I bought it to replace the crap one I had. I needed it to run the deer out of the garden. The issue is the cup is only good for the steel bearings that come with it. I don’t want to permanently injure the deer and I’m pretty sure shooting them will the bearings would. I cut my own leather cup and installed it on bands so I can use rocks or marbles. I still don’t pull all the way back and it sends them running. Please let me say that I cannot recommend this sling and have returned it. I am 62 and have been shooting since childhood. The thing is simply not accurate. The pull is way too hard and can't be adjusted. I am a lifelong bodybuilder, but after ten or twenty shots you feel like you are the gym (in a bad way). And the rubber tubing tends to go all over the place after a shot, so setting up the next shots takes forever.
