Anjou Makeup Brushes, 24 Pieces Professional Eye Makeup Cosmetics Brush Set, Eyeliner, Eye Shadow, Eye Brow, Foundation, Powder Liquid Cream Blending Brush, Premium Wooden Handles

I ordered this set mainly for eye shadow brushes and am very pleased, especially at a $10 price point. Like some of the other reviews have mentioned, I agree the bristles definitely a STRONG chemical smell, but after using my regular brush cleaner, they smelled fine. The only brush that I had issues with was the fan, as yall can see from the picture, but I just cut the few fly-away ones off and I like it better than the current fan brush Im using. I posted pictures of the description of each brush that comes in the set included by the manufacturer. The set does come with multiple eye shadow brushes of the same size, but while they are all relatively the same size overall, as you can see from my picture, each on is actually slightly different in width or height of the bristles.**Concerning specifically the performance of eye shadow brushes** I wanted to compare these to a brush of equivalent price point, so I used Sephora's private label Mixology eye shadow palette and brush. Hands down, the Anjou brushes performed MUCH better, especially the small size brush, even using them with a lower quality eye shadow. You can see from the pictures, these brushes didn't pick up as much shadow, but had less product fall out, blended much easier and produced a better application.

I am very satisfied with this company and product!The brushes are good quality and are extremely well priced!The company also provides a 'brush manual' which lists the purpose for each brush type.I am clueless when it comes to cosmetics; so the 'brush manual' is very useful for me.

All the brushes seem really good quality, especially from the price point and also from the functional point. They do the job really well. Blending the eyeshadows or adding the details (such as eyelining, crease deepening etc,) all go well.(A little about myself: 32 yo. I wear eye makeup on daily basis, and own medium to expensive brushes. I play with all kinds of eyeshadows, matte, glitter, shimmer, cream, bright, mute, what so ever. I am not a professional, but neither an amateur makeup artist.)

For the price paid, these are amazing quality. Super soft and pick up powder and cream flawlessly. Not super duper fluffy but fluffy enough for one of your first sets or what not.Came with all 24 brushes, a booklet explaining which brush is meant for what etc. shipped fast and protected! However they smell strongly of almost sharpie, always wash your brushes before use but especially these cause of the chemical smell.I purchased mainly for the smaller more precise brushes and they're great for needs! I mainly use these for cosplay and special effect makeup/doing other people's makeup as well.These are perfect length also, some companies make super short or long brushes while these are normal sized. I would compare these BH cosmetics type of brushes. This is a steal!

I’m no make-up goddess or anything, but I love to try new things with makeup. I’ve been wanting a good brush set for some time. Well, at this price, I thought, “Why not?!” I’m so glad I got them! They are so soft, & they truly work amazingly. I normally just get my brushes at Dollar Tree for a $1 a piece, & they’re not nearly as good as these. Not to mention, for $10...you’re getting an excellent brush set for less than a bunch of Dollar Tree ones. Great buy!

I only use about 2/3 of the brushes but the price was so good that I am happy with the value. I use most of the eye brushes for shadow and liner. I use one of the larger brushes to neatly apply face clay masks. I clean the brushes using Dr. Bronner's unscented Castile Soap and these brushes clean up beautifully. I really like them and anticipate they will last while but if I needed replacements I would happily repurchase. These would make a very nice gift for someone that it new to makeup or for the experienced makeup brush aficionado.Please note: I purchased these back in August of 2017 so I have had ample time to use them and develop an opinion before leaving this review.

I wanted so much to love these. The quality is nice, the brushes are all very soft, and the construction seems good. However, the smaller brushes don’t have much flex to the brush hairs so it’s very hard to blend. Only the longer bristled brushes have the capacity to blend and the brushes with long hairs are far too big. of the same eyeshadow brush, which is nice if you use highly pigmented colors and can’t have transfer, however these brushes are much to stiff to be useful. They are rigid enough that it’s almost like using a sponge applicator! Thankfully they are cheap so it’s not a huge loss.UPDATE: Ellie from customer service reached out to me after I posted my review and offered to refund my purchase. I didn’t expect returns to be an option (as I originally stated in my review) since generally makeup products aren’t something you can return. I was quite surprised to find Ellie’s email in my inbox and my impression of the company and customer service has improved significantly. I wasn’t pleased with the functionality of the brushes BUT overall the company impressed me-especially Ellie in Customer Service!

These are amazing for the price, honestly like them better than some of my expensive brushes.
