Tasty, almost gummi like consistency.

Gross. Not a mochi texture it had more of a cakey texture. Grainy and hard not chewy at all. Flavor wasn't bad but would not order again. The picture shown looks liek mochi. So false advertisement.

I always get mochi when I visit the big Japan store at Epcot in Disney World. These are such a nostalgic treat for me <3 Great chew and texture. Wonderful taste. However, I do feel like it was a bit lacking on the filling.

They were ok, I love mochi or Daifuku or however you spell it. And this just wasn’t it. I ordered strawberry and when it came (it did come a day early though) I opened it to try one and they were very soft and fresh but the inside had no taste and was chalky. There was almost not strawberry taste by the mochi itself was quite tasty.

We never tried mochi before so don't have anything to compare pexy Japanese Style Mochi Daifuku Traditional Japanese Rice Cakes to, but we liked them. They are soft and chewy with some brown soft filling in the middle. The flavor is very subtle, and the treats are not too sweet. The texture was a bit weird (soft and squishy), but my daughters liked these mochi overall.

I am a huge fan of mochi ever since I discovered it several years back. It was described to me as a combination of a marshmallow and a gummy bear and I feel like that is so accurate. These have the perfect texture and the flavor is great. I couldn’t tell for sure but I think the mochi itself is unflavored and then the filing is what adds the flavor. I put mine in the fridge and they were extra delicious chilled. I bet they would be good in the freezer too. Usually mochi is gluten and dairy free so my husband likes it but this wasn’t labeled as such so unfortunately my husband wasn’t able to try them. It would be nice if that information was included. Overall though these are a great little sweet snack and the price is reasonable for mochi. I’m not sure why it’s usually so expensive but this seems on par with others. I would definitely recommend giving this a try if you like mochi or want to try it for the first time.

This review is for the Apexy Japanese Style Mochi: I LOVE strawberry flavored anything, I also really like mochi, it's chewy and sweet but not overly sweet, it's the perfect dessert! This product gets very close to getting there, there's 8 pcs in the package, it doesn't seem like it needs to be refrigerated but I'll say it tastes good cold. for the price you definitely can't go wrong!
